Okay here's the full reason for my RFE, I'm a k3/k4 visa applicant, we have a child together. Although baby has a U.S. Passport courtesy of the dad, they can't seem to find my 1-30 application and check, which we mailed them already. That's why I have been confused cuz normally my 1-30 is supposed to be approved and 129f won't be needed anymore. So the lawyer just pulled a copy of the 1-30 and check and is sending them back. I hope this doesn't send my case back to square one 😭😭. I want my family united ASAP 💔

My fiance and I dying to be together and start our family and have little ones (and I am dreading my biological clock ticking), I can't even imagine how much harder it must be waiting around when you already have them! This whole process is not fair, we want to marry and move already!

I’m a June 12th filer and I am starting to think by time I get my NOA2, approved by the NVC , my documents together, my medical and my interview  it could be March before I see my fiancé ?!

Can someone please tell me if that’s accurate or am I being a bit dramatic ?!

it seems like they're going 10-20 or less cases per day filer. e.g June 12= 14 cases approved, June 9= 21 cases approved. maybe? maybe not?

I had a massive rant but I erased it.  Just really frustrated and not sure we can do this with the extended wait times.

contact your congressman, They have a team just to handle this stuff. Their inquiry will be looked at before one we would submit on our own in sure. It doesn't hurt anyway at this point. Like I said earlier, This is what I did. Other than knowing my inquiry assigned to one of my congressman's staff, do i know it worked? I cant say, but I like to believe it did since we were approved yesterday. Bottom line over 180 days is ridiculous for a K1 without NOA2, even my congressman's staff agreed with this. so it is worth at least trying. pray for everyone to get their approvals soon.

I have contacted my congressman ( it was a while ago though...) who submitted an official inquiry, and also submitted request for someone at USCIS to look into my case since its outside the processing time (last month, back when Sept 1 was listed on the website in error)  and neither one produces any fruit for me..... I have no other options at this point....I will be at 190 days tomorrow....

Who is your congressman?

After i wrote him we got approved the same day he contacted the uscis.
