Hi everyone,

They announced the latest reports for the last quarter of 2017.

Annnd congratulations they hit the lowest point in the past 3 years.

the amount of work behind is 7500 cases.

They concluded even less cases than any other quarter by only 8187 cases. The sad part? They also have the highest denial rate (26%) ; huh really interesting that this denial rates started on January 17... I leave that info right there...it jumped from 15% to 25%....

it is really weird cause it also looks so looks like they had 3000 less cases than 2016; they only worked 33000 cases (denials included) out of the 50000...

I've checked backwards 3 years and never seen anything like this before... I have some guesses but well I think everyone can guess those looking at these timelines, and thinking what happened during those times and new policies and freezing and all of those....

do i think they're trying to get back in time?

i don't know... because they only did around maybe 7000 cases (if we include those ghost cases without updates) so far... and unless we see july in this year, I wouldn't call it a move towards recovery..

Most likely I'll end up rooting in VJ 😁😁😁😂😂😂😂😂

Maybe because of the change of I-129f type and I usually read about  tons of people sending the wrong amount of money? I don't know, reading that made me nervous :S:(

You don't have to be nervous about anything. All those rejections happened at the start and probably denials based on relationship status which we see rarely for a vj member.

it is just awful workload and they're not helping us that's for sure.

edit: also you're right, it may be that both the fees and the forms changed this year! :)

I had a massive rant but I erased it.  Just really frustrated and not sure we can do this with the extended wait times.

Ah well.  I guess this was the wrong year to apply for the K1 visa.  I'm starting to think my fiance and I aren't going to make it back.  Maybe we'll have to stay here and I'll have to wait another 2 years to save up money to see my family.  It's already been 3 years since I've been back to see my Dad and the rest of the family.  I can't believe that they would make it this hard for a US Citizen to move back to their home country.  I had a WAAAAY better experience getting my partnership visa to live in New Zealand.  In all seriousness we may not be able to move if the approval doesn't come through in January.  I feel like maybe I've made one of the dumbest decisions of my whole life trying to do this and putting my fiance through it.  Sorry for the rant.  It's just really frustrating that they took a huge ####### on this whole process.

:( ohhh don't say that.. you almost made it and January is still 15 days away...

let's be positive and pray that you will get your approval in January :)

you almost there !
