Hello guys, 9th June case was received. It’s early morning in New Zealand, I got my first call from my fiancé and today on the occasion of our three year relationship anniversary our case was approved. We have a 17 year age difference and A same sex couple. Moreover I m a third national means my passport is Indian though I m a student in Nz and have applied here. 

 

So all all the odd ones out we got approved and I m sure everyone of you will be. Just pray god! Pray as hard as you can.  You will be approved. I got approved on 185 days.

Yes, I know the feeling.  I was hoping to see something in the mail, and hoped they just forgot to scan my case.  Saw mail woman and went outside to get mail she said hello and sorry I do not have anything for this address.  I said thank you and have a good day.  Now waiting again.  Yes, I have informed delivery but usually the mail gets here before I check my e-mail.   Still nothing and hoping everyday will be the day I hear something from the USCIS.   But soon, I keep telling. myself soon.  This will be the week we are one step closer.

Yes I know, I agree. Their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing.

 

But we do know that they don't process cases in order, so who knows what a "batch" constitutes to them. Maybe it's just the whole month. At least they're being honest that yes, they're behind, and yes, some of us will be even further slowed down over the holidays.

I'm kind of similar to you, I hold dual citizenship of South Africa and New Zealand, but lived and worked all my adult life in NZ. We are June 12th, hopefully today or sometime this week.

I received the actual letter from USCIS instead. When I looked up my case number online, it still shows as Case was received...

I just got off the phone with a tier 2 rep. My case ends with 53556. He said my case has been assigned to an adjudicator, but they don't see any other information. My NOA1 was June 6th.

Is it OK if we only see an approval on USCIS website and didn't receive an email just yet?
