Good luck to all let the approvals begin :)

It won't be anything like yesterday, but every approval helps!

I’m getting anxious.😔

My fiancé is out of the military on January 15 and will effectively be homeless at that point with no income. We desperately are hoping for an approval today.

I'm praying for you.

PA is not far from where we are going to be settling down.

I've driven across all on it on my road trip in the summer.

It's a very cozy state.

I've driven across the tiny little piece of PA that intersects with the I90, Erie Pennsylvania, on my trips going and coming back from Columbus.

Most times, it's a beautiful, scenic peaceful drive. I loved it!

But then, there were the times that traveling that stretch of I90 through PA was driving through one thunder-burst after another...wipers flying, zero visibility, torrential rain, hail and Biblical-strength gusts of winds LOL. Just on that one stretch of highway. I'm told the weather is volatile there because of Lake effects, being in such close proximity to Lake Erie.

So...do you think Americans on the road with me were at all perturbed? Nope.  They were flying past me like I was nailed down LOL. They probably thought I was nuts.

Then, there was that time that it was blizzard and white-out conditions all the way through that one stretch again.  There I was, the hardy Canuck, seasoned veteran of piloting vehicles on roads where snowplows fear to tread (ok not really :P) but, definitely, a winter-proof driver through ice, snow and harsh conditions...yep, I was crawling along with my hazards on while Americans flew past, splashing my windshield with slush as they went. Probably laughing, too.

Yep, I'd say Americans are kinda crazy. I always liked that about them, actually, but I never expected to fall for one, either.  :)

id say most of pa is scenic and peaceful.  ive definitely come to grow fond of this state after trying to leave for years and years... I am  definitely blessed to live here. although erie is far from me, I have been up that way in the "PA wilds" the forests that stretch along the north west part of the state... just gorgeous.  theres an observatory/camp ground up north that is said the be the best place on the east coast to see our galaxy.  it cost 5 or 10 dollars to camp over night.  and its AMAZING.

and I am glad I DIDNT fall for another American ...  HAHAAA!!!

Is anybody else having issues with the VJ forums? I check our June fliers forum several times a day! I feel like I know so many of you so very well:) At least 2-3 times a day, I click the link to open the forum or I hit the next page link and it sends me to a spam site that I cannot get out of when I try to backpage. I have to close the link and open it back up from scratch. I mostly use my iPad, so I know it’s not a virus or malware. Just curious.

its a shame that we are all spread out around the country. I think it would be really cool to have the ability to have some sort of gathering when we all complete the process. I think it would be pretty cool to meet all of you and celebrate the completion of this process.

I am! From yesterday on, every time I open on my iphone I get redirected to a spam website. It hasn't happened on my pc though. I really hope a moderator checks this and fixes it, we still need the support of each other and most important, the guides!

You need to install a content blocker for iOS. I recommend norton ad blocker from the App Store. Before doing that, I would get rerouted to Walmart gift cards or win an iPhone sites.

My fiancee lives in Georgia and when they had those huge tropical storms and hurricanes and things, he tells me "Its ok", and I look on maps and its like right on top of him... So you're not crazy, I do it too, but I have learned to just trust him.

Whether I handle it so well when its me standing in the eye of the storm, I will worry about it then, but he's definitely used to it, so I'm sure fires in CA are the same kinda thing.

That’s why I live where I live in Arizona. We don’t have to really worry about that stuff. Just the accaisonal dust storm.
