Ahh now I understand what they meant by i130. It must be the times when k3 was active. They would cancel the k3's 129f when 130 was approved and probably send them to nrc!

I just read this to confirm what you said about K3 visa. No wonder they send I-129f (K1 visa) to the NRC by mistake.

Alright, this one had my eyes floating with water...  of dawww.... I can imagine every one of us will do that with our loved one. It has been soon 2 Christmases since Jason an I celebrated our very first Christmas together. A very memorable one, the AC in the house decided to break down on Christmas and we had to lodge into a hotel. Being told of course there are restaurants open near the hotel and only to find that Waffle House was open.  *Facepalms* Our very first Christmas was melt and hashbrowns hehe. Jason and I have been together for over 8 years! -  Yes we have done the long distant relationship for so long, we are very grateful for www.secondlife.com *where we met actually*, Skype and all the apple products that makes it possible for us to call, text and face time for free -  and we are so close to the goal of being finally together as husband and wife, I am so going to do this (what they do in the video) when I am finally home in his arms.

Why was that video stopped? I want to keep watching.. no no no no I don't want to see.. it makes my tears coming out..

Well it looks like I'm gonna try and book a 3 week trip back to Brazil to see her in February.  I expect this process to take another 6 months or so at least so it will provide me some peace of mind that I will get to see her before the process is finished..

I've read some threads that said USCIS sent the approved I-129f to NRC by mistake. The National Records Center is used as a long term storage facility for inactive immigration files. This is so that the field offices don't have to store files that aren't currently active, though records can (and are) recalled from the NRC when needed.

I copied this from a thread on 2013 from a VJ memebr named AZSUN.

I called the USCIS today and asked if they could track my case. I was approved on August 16th at the California service center. They escalated my call up the ladder. After waiting 2 and a half hours on hold someone answered. They were able to see my file and it was still sitting in California waiting for shipment. What they told me was the government waits until they have a full load and then ships the files to NVC. He told me it should be shipped in 10 more business days but I really think it was a guess on his part. Also, he could have just assumed it was sitting in California still because it did not have a NVC case number. He did seem sincere and educated on the process. I am still hoping it will be Friday. So it will be interesting to see when those of us, who were approved on August 16th at the CSC, will be sent to NVC. I did ask if it was country specific and he said no. They wait until they have a full shipment and then send the files. Seems they must have enough by now.ClockWatch2.gif

That is rediculous that cases that were approved in Aug would still be sitting at CSC waiting to be sent to NVC. So its been sitting there for almost 4 months? 4 months and they dont have a full load of Cases to send, I dont by that. Because I dont believe they are only sending I-129F approvals there. Makes no sense. What the He!! are they doing? these are our lives they are playing with.

Hmm yesterday too there was an update on May I checked but there wasn't anything new.. maybe it's a late update too? Cause apps are slower than the website.

Sorry this is a bit premature, but by any chance does anyone have any ideas/thoughts on what they are doing for healthcare once they are in the US/married? I know that it is possible to get temporary healthcare for the duration of having a K1 visa (ie. before married after POE) but has anyone thought of how to obtain their healthcare once married? I'm just wondering to see if there is a way to get legal immigrant coverage or something? I know that most people will probably be covered by their spouse, particularly if they have employer-sponsored healthcare, but a lot of states seem not to cover legal immigrants until they have had 5 years of legal immigrant status... therefore, what are people doing if their spouse doesn't have a decent healthcare package with work? Do we have no option but to obtain expensive individual coverage? Open enrolment is now so my fiancé and I have just been discussing this...

@A+E18 Once married, your SO can usually add you to their healthcare at work if they have one. Unfortunately, we (beneficiary) don't have no status for healthcare. If we (beneficiary) get sick it is going to cost us a lot of money. Sadly, we have to find independent healthcare insurance. That's what I know.

I'm thinking it works like this. The app checks your status automatically 4 times a day. Well if you have your phone off or background data disabled it can't check the status of your case. So you turn your phone on or open the app on Sunday then the app knows you had action with your case and send out a notification to everyone at that point. This is just my assumption because the app checks your case status directly from your phone not in the cloud.

Actually, that was from a 2013 thread. It was saying that CSC is gathering all approved  I-129fs until they have a full load for shipment to NVC.
