How do I know who the congressman/woman is to write to? My fiancé Lives on base at JBLM in Washington. 

If you are not an American then they have no interest in you.  It'll seem curious as to why their constituent is not handling this issue. Unless you're under 7 months ..best bet is to just hang tight.  Your American sponsor should be all over this.

I'm June 12th too and we are sending off our letter to the congressmen in the morning. My nerves were going when I saw the June 12th were being approved but no update on our case status yet, still showing recieved.

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked my status on the website like 10 times and double checked my numbers because I am in disbelief! It is truly a good feeling of relief and I sincerely wish it for everyone....those before June 12th especially--you all deserve it!! In a way I feel guilty even writing this  knowing so many are waiting before me. But as so many posts have given me hope, I hope this one gives you all some hope and light! As I have said, when all hope is lost and you're stuck in the dark tunnel and you don't know when you will get out--it will happen.  

 

I updated my timeline....Mine was accepted at 178 days...and yes, send out those letters Junebugs!! We can make a difference!

I'm happy for those cases that got accepted, and in all honesty, I don't feel envy in any way towards anyone whose case has been approved after skipping other people's, I'm happy that they don't have to be apart from their loved one because I know how hard it is to stay so far from them and feeling like you have no control over the situation at all.  It's only USCIS's fault that its taking longer than what was advertised. But I do feel like its fishy how it takes over 6 months for them to update us and it's always generic, its absolutely infuriating to me.

Should we write to the Congressman of our city and state?

 

I'm sorry I'm just really sad because I haven't seen my fiance since March and now March is right around the corner again and its almost a year since I saw him in person and unfortunately not all of us are able to travel so quickly and easily across the world. Not that we don't want to, we literally are not able to.

 

I hope no one takes it the wrong way

It's so excited to see more and more June filers got the approval congrats to those who already approved.
I come from Taiwan, our NOA1 date is 6/13, waiting 178 days so far.
Really hope that we can get the approval before Christmas, that would be one of the best Christmas gift to us.

My fiance proposed to me on Christmas Eve last year : )))))

My fiance called USCIS in the first week of December. We got the reply that they still mainly process May cases. But they will update the status on December 15.
So we guess before that, USCIS will mainly focus on May cases. And we may be able to see larger number of June case be processed after December 15.

Hope every one could get good news soon!!!
