You, sir are a stand up guy. I hope that when you and my Brit both make it to Atlanta, we can have a pint! We haven't received our approval yet (June 29) but remain hopeful - and I love this idea of paying it forward and spreading the Junebug love. Is every month as awesome as June? #Junepride

Everyone, can I ask you a favor?

Its a little strange but I'd like us to pay it forward....

THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN APPROVED - Please could you consider going to a future thread, be it August, Sept, Oct, Nov or Dec.... and try to help lift the spirits of those who are about to go through what we went through.  Tell them a realistic view if you must, but try to focus on the feeling of having this I-129F approved and complete... even though the journey isn't over, I can definitely say I feel much better about it. Yeah, the NVC wait is averaging more than it used to, but i really don't care THAT much... this is the main stage of torture and its over, and I'd really love if we can do a positive and human thing by paying it forward and giving them a little hope.  We don't have to be unrealistic or overly optimistic, but we also don't have to spread pessimism or the worst trends of our experience... just let them know how it feels when that approval comes.  Remind them that although there may be people who wait longer than average, there are also people who are less than  average...  Remind them that average is average for a reason (thats the MAJORITY)..... thats why its the average, and without an average, there is no above average to complain about... above average is NOT the norm... lets remind them of that!

Lets go tell them to have hope because good feelings will come.

Please - I do alot for you guys by scanning as much as I can, and I rarely ask for anything in return, so if any of you can find the time to just find another thread, and pass on a little good feeling and hope, I'd personally really feel happy about that, and feel like my time has been, and continues to be, well served.

Thank you guys!

Nice one, mate! I'll be sure to check in with future threads.

One of the best New Years I remember, except last year when I was with my fiance in Manila. it does not affect the uscis, it is fee based, and as budgets already send around for the fiscal year for department of state too. Unless it goes for months it won't affect the process.

The basic fact I see that if they can't agree, there will be a government shutdown, which means that all non-essential federal staff would be placed on unpaid furlough since there isn't no money to pay them.  It usually doesn't put last long And isn't usually as bad as it sounds

Nice! I'm in Avondale Estates (Decatur technically) - "Inside the Perimeter" they call it, when they want to feel important. :P

I was drawn to the area because the "town" portion looks like an English village- and a lot of the surrounding houses are built in the Tudor style as well.
