@Trinab80 I actually had more results by going the local office than I ever did on the phone or email. I was able to get an appointment to an office close to my designated one since that one had no appointments left. I also Visited the website at early hours (3-4 am) and saw different time slots where there were none

My closest ones are Dover, DE (Delaware is my residential state) and Philadelphia. Both are about a 45 mins away from home. I have called both location locations and the earliest appointments they have available is mid-late February which still puts me at a 5 week mark. Trust me, I tried. But thanks for the advice.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

It did make it harder, not gonna lie about that one. But this process has definitely shown me what meaning of true, unconditional and everlasting love is all about (if I can find a silver lining in this whole mess). I know it sounds kinda sappy but when I think about past relationships I've had with those that live and are from the US, we couldn't survive minimal trials and tribulations until I got to see my ex-mate true colors and intentions. However this process...this process DEFINITELY weeds out whether a person is really with YOU or just with you for convenience. I'm told every day by people that know I'm going through this that they couldn't do it and would have given up a long time ago and I tell them all the time - you would give up on the person you know & feel in your mind, heart, body and soul you want to spend the rest of your life with just that easy? For what....to settle for another person that you have to start all over with and try to figure out hidden motives & agendas, and lies & truths and all the other stuff for something you're not guaranteed will make you happy? If so, then whether you're in a relationship with someone next door to you or on the opposite of the world, the end game will still be the same. I believe for every 5 or even 10 people you meet in your life, you find that 1 person (maybe 2...MAYBE) that you are meant to be with. And if they are not willing to fight for you and you're not willing to fight back for them, then why waste anymore time? I don't want to marry someone that I THINK I will be with for the rest of my life - I want to marry someone that I KNOW I WANT AND WILL BE WITH FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! Does it hurt that Reni is not with me every single morning and night right now, absolutely! But he will be one day and as long as God keeps waking me up, I have another day on Earth that gets me closer to that everlasting moment that I've been praying for since the beginning!

Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble. Guess I needed to get that off my chest!

So amazingly and perfectly stated!  Thank you for sharing that. It seems like both of us are blessed with amazing partners who have shown us what true love actually is. In my case, I have never felt anything near what I feel with Rose.

Thank you again for stating it so eloquently.

I am a June 6th Filer.  I am in shock to inform you all that I (we) were approved on January 11th and the approval was sitting in our mailbox today, January 17th.  What a long, difficult journey it has been,  The website never updated and  it still indicates "received."

All I can say is that to all my brothers and sisters out there that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not another train!  You may be approved and you do not know it.  Keep faith, keep checking the mailbox and god bless you and I wish you all the  best of luck on this journey.

Btw, the long wait seems to be just a delay from a ton of applicants, it's not you, it is what it is, keep faith.

There were also 2 June 6 approvals that showed up in the app. Strange that some make it online while others don’t. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised by anything they do.

I wouldn't bet on it if I were you,  right now it's taking about 6 weeks to NVC:( The fact that you've waited long makes no difference to them so I doubt they'll send it now when it's only been a week since your NOA2. There was someone who got theirs sent to NVC in about 20 days so hopefully that'll be the case for you too ^_^ The good thing is that the NVC wait seems to be getting better so you'll probably have it faster than 6 weeks, maybe like 20-30 days?

i am happy with 20 days rather then 6 weeks . The other person you mention who received the case number in 20 days did the same thing ,I just follow his instruction .

If they don't transfer i have no choice ,but what makes me feel better is i tried my best .............

I wish you luck to receive the case number asap.

Awesome post. So Inspiring! I feel for you, @John & Rose, and everyone else that has to wait for what seems to be no good reason. I think if they would at least give some honest explanation it would be much easier, but what can you do?

Thanks for staying positive, because your positive attitude has really inspired me in more ways than you will ever know in my life. :D

Stay strong dear @Trinab80!

I mainly hang out on the June forum (too much too read/keep up with otherwise), but I often check your profile to see if you've gotten your approval yet.

Know that I'm praying for you too.

Awwww.....you're absolutely welcome!!! Somehow I have to find some positivity from somewhere and have to be an example for others going through the struggle like me. If my experience can be of use to someone else in any way, at least I know my struggle is not really all in vain.

LETS TALK CHILDREN.....

I was just wondering how many kids were stuck in this mess with us.....

How many  of you have children with each other?

How many are with someone that have children?
How old are they?
Will there schoolwork be in trouble because of the longer then expected wait?

Are they OK with moving to another country?

Read the last paragraph .. they throw out "legal" and then the proof comes regarding an illegal deportee  .... blocking illegals is good. deporting illegals is good. We DO NOT want an amnesty. TPS cancellation is good, along with cancellation of visa waiver, chain migration and DACA. Clear the decks!!!!

Been through the Clinton 2000 December amnesty ... not good situation for law followers.

I have no children but she has two,  I was hoping for the first timeline VJ predicted in September for me, since their school ended in Nov. and starts in Feb.   I was hoping to have them start here in Jan. to avoid gaps.   Right now it looks like they will start in Feb over there which will add cost, then we will have to pull them from school, which will mean they will be behind here.  It may add a year to their schooling which may not be a bad thing with ESL and making friendships. Out of my hands as do not want to delay being with her any longer than we have to.....

I am bringing over Rose’s kids. Aira is 15 and AJ is 17.   The school year in the Philippines is June to March. It isn’t bad now so they can finish the year there but the start of next year is an open question. Do we pay tuition for next year?  When will they actually be in the states?

They are very excited about moving and ask me everyday what is going on.

Is that why yours is taking so long cuz you are bringing the kids also? or it is just uscis?
