Thank you @Naes! I am going to be so relieved when I finish this K1 journey.

I am still cheering for everyone here and hope all of us will be reunited with our loved ones soon, it was a rough ride but it was worth it!

When's the interview date?

February 27th but I requested an earlier date if it was possible. The embassy will send a reply on Sunday, hopefully if it is granted or if someone will back out at the last minute. NVC was the one who provided the interview date after checking with the US Embassy here.

The weekdays here in the Middle East is Sunday to Thursday and the weekends are Friday and Saturday.

Wow really so NVC actually provided one that's also interesting!

Who were you told that by. The tier 1 or tier 2? What does that even mean   "pending for review"

Any one recently approved for the U.K.....

What docs are you now getting together, as I don’t want to get them too early ...

doctor letter

vaccinations / and record

Police check

paperwork for affidavit of support

completing that DS160 (or whatever it’s called) online

is it too early knowing it could be a further 2.5 months before it gets to the NVC? Or can I start getting all of this stuff?

I know how frustrating this whole process is. It would be 100% better if there was some sort of communication and honesty.

I was talking to my bestie today, and even she was saying with all the technology today, it could be a “robot” who calls to give you a simple update. Like those ones who pester you to see if you’ve been involved in an accident.

I am not sure what’s confusing you like I mention above spoke to tier 2 USCIS about transferring my approval to NVC currently which take 6 weeks I am trying to ask USCIS if they can do it right away rather than waiting

I wouldn't bet on it if I were you,  right now it's taking about 6 weeks to NVC:( The fact that you've waited long makes no difference to them so I doubt they'll send it now when it's only been a week since your NOA2. There was someone who got theirs sent to NVC in about 20 days so hopefully that'll be the case for you too ^_^ The good thing is that the NVC wait seems to be getting better so you'll probably have it faster than 6 weeks, maybe like 20-30 days?
