Exactly, they took from us our only "reliable" source of information about what's going on. I wish I had the data to keep you guys informed of the latest trends, but with no approval updates it's like if we have nothing. Hopefully they'll start updating again eventually...

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

no i just sent my receipt number and explained my story. they respond with in days, i sent it yesterday and got a response today.

lol! I'm a born a bred US Citizen and every time I enter the country again (especially at the land POEs) they give me this look😠😠😠😠😠😠..... that makes me feel like a 3 year old caught in the cookie jar!

 

 I'm shaking in my boots!

 

Some of those bad asses they hire now are downright scary 🤣🤣

No kidding!  I feel the same way every time I return from the Philippines.  It is a little sad how inviting and friendly immigration is all around the world and when I come home it just feels like they hate us all.

I wouldn't worry too much after USCIS noa2.  Sure, they can always stop you anywhere but I have never heard of it and I'm sure they would have a good reason 😄 So try not to sweat it!

That's actually my main theory of why they stopped updating approvals. I wouldn't be surprised if after hearing too much about this website on the calls they decided to check it and stop updating when they learnt about the scans. Am I being too paranoid? Maybe. But again, since it was causing them problems, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

I am hopeful for some good news, I saw on the NVC spreadsheet some 5th and 6th December NOA2 were received yesterday. Maybe the turn around is slowing down now. Day 35 today.

26 January 2018 - NVC Scan Date                                            17 July 2018 - Biometrics appt

29 January 2018 - NVC Number                                                24 July 2018 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview

07 February 2018  -Medical                                                        27 Sept 2018 - Call to request EAD expedite based on pending job offer/financial hardship

20 February 2018 -Interview: APPROVED!                               6 Oct 2018 - Letter in mail stating "Your case is currently under review"

21 February 2018- Visa Issued                                                  16 Nov 2018 - EAD Approved                                                                             

23 February 2018-Visa in hand                                                  24 Nov 2018 - EAD/AP received in mail

20 March 2018 -POE: Los Angeles                                            26 Nov 2018 - SSN mail received 

20 May 2018-Marriage                                                                06 Nov 2018 - Interview Scheduled

                                                                                                        16 March 2019 - Interview

As far as I can tell....USA is the most difficult country to enter...more then Russia and China!

(I haven't tried N Korea yet😅)

I've done China and they were great!  They always smiled and were very friendly.  Very thorough too!  They confiscated a spare camera battery that was accidentally left in my checked bag.  They left a very nice note with the form they used to show the confiscation.
