Hopefully you hear something soon. And everyone still waiting from may or June. Thank you everyone for this forum, if it wasn't for this I would have lost it way before.

Yes, thank goodness for this forum or I would have no clue about the delays and would be completely freaking out! Of course there are days when I am tempted

Your attitude to this journey is admirable. I really hope you guys get your NOA2 very very soon, you deserve it. All the couples do. You are only about an hour and a half drive away so hi neighbor! Illinois is a huge adjustment for me coming from New Zealand, there are SO many cornfields and soy beans :o

Haha omg you guys are like an hour and a half north of me! I'm sure Pri will be glad to know she's not the only kiwi adjusting to all the flatness of central Illinois! 😂 after visiting her last March for a whole month, I totally understood her concern about what's holding the sky up here! 😋 so many corn fields, so few sheep!

Literally Just now. my fiance asked me if every We don't hear anything till february, if im going to visit her :(

Even if you hear something soon, it will still be 3-4 months, if not longer, before the whole process is over 😞😞. I dipped into savings for my upcoming trip. My fiancé and I were last together in early August. I couldn’t handle being apart much longer. After I booked my trip, the anxiety from waiting on my NOA 2 disappeared. I had something to look forward to again.

I was saving for for my wedding too, but something had to give. I am content with a super small wedding now because I get to see my other half in 30 days ❤️.

My fiance and I were last together May of 2017. If ever I can go back to the Phillipines It would be only for 2 weeks. I can't take off work right away. Im also saving my paid time off if we go for honeymoon. So what do I choose? spend my Paid time off now to see my fiance? or wait till she gets here to spend more PTO when she's here?

Totally up to you! For me, I’m visiting for 2 weeks and using all of my vacation. We probably won’t have a honeymoon bc of this trip. We were both fine with that :). When I mentioned visiting my fiancé (he’s in the Phils), he laughed at me and told me not to use savings. But then Christmas came and the holidays apart sucked! So we agreed for me to visit. We can always take a fancy vacation next year when this hell of a process is over 😊.

I just told her we might be able to still have lamb and she just made the most adorable excited noises 😂😂😂 I think we're probably gonna have to split a lamb to keep our kiwi spouses properly fed, yea? 😋

MLK Jr day is a federal holiday, so I'm going to guess they're closed, yea. 😩 this is the first year I've NOT enjoyed close holidays, but can we just get into the holiday drought already? 😋
