The way some write their dates throws me off. People from the US read that as  Sept 1 lol. Regardless, congrats on the great news!

I thought the same thing haha... Congrats though as well!

In response to everyone who is asking about the accuracy of informed delivery, I use it and it’s been 100% accurate for me. They’ve scanned very piece of mail that has my address on it.

So, this is my understanding: medical is anytime after you get the case number (at least, that's what the clinic in Wellington said), then when your case makes it to Auckland they'll send you packet 3 with info to return (including release form for police records).  I believe this checklist here is the bulk of packet 3...then once they receive it they'll schedule your interview and notify you of the date.  I know it WAS quite short - I've heard as short as a week early in 2017 - but no clue about now.  I've tried to find out but it's pretty impossible to get an answer out of anyone!  I'll certainly let you know when we find out.

And, as a (nearly) lifelong Midwesterner, let me say: welcome / haere ra!  It's cold here, and we have 100% less ocean, but it's a very nice (if fairly unassuming) part of the country.  My fiancé is originally from the Waikato and he says this is the part of the U.S. that feels most like home :)

Sounds like the exact same process for here!

Ps. Hello my fellow Redditor - we got our NOA2 in the mail yesterday :D

Had the best news to wake up to, we got our NOA2 approval! 09/01/2018! Nothing on the scans or by email of course, but a lovely surprise that immediately made me burst into happy tears!

Thank you to everyone here for keeping up morale, running scans and providing info to everyone, even if they don't natter back. I was getting seriously down until the 'mossy cottage' line made me spit my tea out, and this week was tough in general, so being able to look back and realise we'd been approved all along makes me half-giggle.

Same same! Looks like we were approved on the same date!

Here's to hoping for more hard copies! The Jan 4 approvals were still coming in all of this last week, so perhaps a bunch more from Jan 9th to be expected...? :)

Every time I hear, "it's 30 degrees" I think, bloody hell, that's warm for winter. 😳

I LOOOOVE baking. Measuring in imperial and Fahrenheit throws me right off. I have a set of "cups", that I bought out there, here in the UK so I can get practicing. I also have a set of digital electronic scales to bring with me so I can use my English cook books.

SO confusing 😥

Muhahaha ironic that we got this system from England so it’s your fault! 😂

Hey, you take things from us and mess it up. Dates, measurements, temperature, spelling. Bloody Nora! 😂

I have this play fight with him all the time. I have him saying proper English cussing and phrases. It's hilarious hearing an American say "bell end" and "boll*cks" 😂😂😂

I'm not as potty mouthed as you lot must think I am 😇 Promise.
