It is sad but true. Figure 4 months after NOA2. Hopefully they will cut down on the 6 to 8 weeks they let the approved files just sit and wait for delivery to NVC.

Yes, the earliest sounds like early May.. We do not want any more stress on top of this process ! So we keep August in mind now.. And it actually feel a bit better now.. No rush ! We have no control over this, I dont want to lose all my hair before my wedding 

I’ve already lost all of mine. August should be perfect. You will have a good month + to get settled first. No pressure.

I refuse to just chill and relax, if I do that I'll make impulsive decisions. I am just keeping myself busy at least talking to people about places, or reservations for that matter. And I am not going to do a civil wedding. I will make my wedding very worth the wait. It's better to have my contacts full rather than waiting for stuff to happen cuz it wont.

Just think it through and be careful so you don’t lose money on deposits. Try for a mid July or August wedding. I don’t want you to have to set everything up just to cancel later. Have the wedding that both of you dream about but do it when you can actually be together for it! 👍🏻

yeah, No. not making any deposits. I wanted for the vendors to know me and stuff like that so when the time comes. I am not a stranger to them.

I've stopped hoping other than just approvals at all stages.. Their goals is not to make it quicker now and we all know it.. 

All I can say and think is that it will come and it will be alright.. 

 

You wear it nice no worries ! As a woman with an afro that my fiancé loves, this could be a problem if I lose mine tho !

They  don’t want to make it quick but they can’t stop it from happening. We will remain patient and that patience will eventually pay off.

Happy to see that those Jan 4th approvals are still arriving by mail. Not getting my hopes up, but who knows... there's always the chance that we might be in there too

Looks like we both have amazing partners!  I really love this look because it is easy and I don’t have to worry about driving with the windows open. I do get sunburned easily though!
