Hi, I have to say I have the same worry when I didn't see the decree absolute signed, we just sent a copy of the paper work with our petition in September when we filed. but my lawyer says that is the only paper work I will get and it is all legal, I did feel very underwhelmed when I opened the envelope and there were only  two sheets for paper and a covering letter, I am not sure what I expected, but it wasn't that!

Please keep us updated as to the outcome of the RFE, I have had a look on the 'net for any information about signatures but I haven't found anything, maybe a covering letter from your divorce lawyer explaining UK law might help the USCIS?

Read the post in that, there are people who explains what they did.

Hi Naes,  Yes I read the responses, but it is just one more thing to worry about while we wait and wait. 120 days so far as I am sure you know! so a while to wait yet.

There probably isn't any point to it when the USCIS aren't  updating  but are you going to do a weekly scan? at least we have some idea of how they are moving though June and how July is starting off.

Yes I'm updating all months.

however I won't be doing weeklies as much as before, but I will make updates.

the reason for that is, most of the approvals are not updated online. Instead they send them in mail. So we don't see the real activity especially approval activity. So the numbers are not helpful to actually analyze.

Its already night time here so I'm hoping to update things tomorrow morning (late afternoon for us California time)

I know exactly what you are saying, it just so we can see some movement even if it isn't accurate, as I see it the last virgin figure for June was 1950 +/-  so if your scan shows 1200 cases at least we know they are doing something!  I would like to see the VJ people up date this site! again, that is some indication of  where they are at the CIS.

On the divorce issue, I don't want an RFE because they don't know about the UK paper work, Colleen and I have lost enough time together as it is with problems and issues (not just my divorce) I have have had here in the UK over the last 7 years,  I am beginning to worry if everything will ever get sorted out, we thought that the visa part of move would be the easiest as wait times were only a few weeks, as they  have been in the past.

My scans will show exactly same as vocaledge's, cause if they don't update info on the uscis website, we won't have info either.

All we can do is guess. In May when they were not updating cases, there were still some movement happening daily, but some were also coming out without notice.

In June we have days that show no approval, and even no rfe sometimes. So guessing the amount is harder. but I would easily assume (however, this would be an assumption depending on watching the movements for the past 3-4 months) that the virgins are closer to 1300+ and not 1950.

About the RFE, as you cannot do anything at the moment, I would advice to get every possible solution ready. and as there are many people who goes through UK with the same type of divorce decree, I would just get the same papers, and go through the advice there such as highlighting and explaining how it works in UK, and keep it ready just in case so you can send it at once if they ask. Let's still hope they won't

I am already if they ask, it all depends on if they want to accept what they are told!

When we mid September people are approved when / what date do you see your POE?

I want to say  July POE if things stay the way it is. Depends on the embassy though.

but I'll be honest I'm changing my wedding date from July 28 to September 22. Just to be on the safe side. As we never know.

Thank you,  good to know. I Just seem to be having a bad day here and January in England isn't a good month, today is very dull and gloomy, and it doesn't help when the news is full of anti immigration rhetoric from the guy who seems to have two S***holes.

however, July is a little earlier than I was  working, but it would be nice to think that could be, I was thinking more August maybe September for POA and down to city Hall soon after.   Hey it's getting near your bed time, thanks for chatting.

For all June 23rd filers. Have you set a tentative date for the wedding? if yes, what month?

I am thinking Late April or Late May

I had Dec 31st 2017 😂😂😂 changed it to March 17th and now June 3rd. I hope I don’t need to change it again 🙄🙄🙄

I called yesterday. and lady was just laughing while reading her scripted answer to me. I was like. " please tell me you're not reading your answers to me?" and she was giggling the whole time.

Well, after what you said before... Oh man. I cheered when you said about the RFE. The relief. I can only imagine how happy you was 💜
