Each case is different

•different bulks

•different adjudicators

•different levels of difficulty

•may need extra background check

•the background check didn't finish yet

•the adjudicator got sick or working from home

however to tell the truth, June is going more in order than May and April.

Ohh good to know. Hopefully it will keep going that way. I would always imagine an adjudicator with a desk full of petitions and would just pick any file in no particular order.

We have a long way to go 😶 It’s hard to be patient but it’s the least I can do.

It's a little complicated but call 1-800-375-5283 and then press 1 * 346

It'll connect you straight to someone and once you reach someone, you have to ask for tier two and they have to call you. It took them four hours to reach me the first time and the second time, they called back within an hour and a half.

Better than tier two... contact your district congressman and ask to speak to their immigration liason, and ask if they can send a request on your behalf.

I believe that contacting you Congressman really works. Each office has personnel trained in this area and these elected officials are motivated to help out because it is pure constituency service for just normal everyday people. If you Congressman is on the committee that oversees USCIS (Homeland Security) then you are in a good spot to give hard evidence that this agency needs more resources. Things have gotten better since the first time I did this back in 2000. Do not get sucked into negativity or politics. Spousal visa are something everyone supports.  There is no chance of an amnesty for illegals and trust me, been thru one of those, which pushed all timelines +1 year. Keep calm and make preparations for the arrival of your fiance. I waited 2.5 years on an I-130 spousal visa thru the Clinton amnesty and 11 SEP 2001 and a lost file in the St Louis sub contractor fiasco (a INS subcontractor was throwing cases in the trash). America is the greatest country on the planet and this explains the backlog. Give thanks and keep calm.

I just explained that it has officially been six months and I was worried about my case being behind. I was transferred right away.
