Haha oh boy you must have had a few lately.   Let's say we were proactive about this, too. But yeah, as they send everything electronically, I assumed it should not take too long either, to be honest.

I get a couple emails every day.

Electronically though? So no paper case?

Saw @mysticdolphin95's update earlier too (along with another one) - was wondering why that was so early, as Cali wasn't working yet. Then later realized that NVC is not in California :)

Paul here,  i figured id hijack the account from Mallory this time. First time poster, long time lurker.  It's ironic that this is our first joint account....who knew that VJ would be the test drive for things to come.

None the less, even if things seem to be random these days. Its really encouraging to see someone in the horizon getting their NVC acknowledged.  Me and Mallory are close to that date. @mysticdolphin95  congratulations to you guys.

@LizM Tjenare! kul å se en svensk här. I saved your “action Plan” on the Scandinavian thread. Very sound plan.

As for @John & Rose stay “malakas”

For everyone else waiting, stay strong and vigilante. We are all in this together.  Shout out to @vocaledge for the scans, tremendous job mate. Same goes for everyone else that are posting those.

I'm not sure what "malakas" means but it is fun to say!  I will stay very malakas!

Sorry, I should’ve specified that he’s the beneficiary not the USC...I think they would’ve let me make an address change online or on the phone

hey guys, my fiancé (the beneficiary) just moved a few days ago but as you know we got our approval yesterday... does his address get updated on uscis website also?  should I call for that? or does he have to do that another way? how important is it? he lives between family so there are a few address I could use..

It's a Greek word. Depends on the context it's used in. My nan lived in Kalymnos for years. It was used for its more slang use...

Erm... Yeah. It means.. well..

I would like to know what Paul meant 😂😂

if it has been approved then everything should be directed at the NVC or embassy (as far as i know) You may check with the embassy, since the beneficary address may be where they send packet 3, depending on embassy, some just send e-mail, others through post.   My fiancee says she is going to move but has not yet, so I figure I will write an e-mail to the embassy, or have her go to the embassy to change address when and if that time comes.

Not all approvals (or even all rfes) are updated so yep this is the new normal.

also it is known that uscis increased the number of rfes. More scrutiny is required obviously 🙄 I don't want to talk about that part again.

but yep this is the new normal.

also numbers are not given exactly in date order. Especially at the beginning and ending of the months it's pretty mixed up.

Those July numbers are not july - they had previous updates before we got the first scan and I left the dates as it was instead of guessing when they were virgins. But they are june numbers. But it is not uncommon to see dates not being in an order.

Pretty dismal stuff.

I am also not naive and knowthat certain countries are going to be more scrutinized than others. I would have been shocked if my fiance's paperwork was done earlier. While I'm an upstanding citizen and a taxpayer, this does not have a bearing if your fiance belongs to a "shithole" country. I'm ashamed and frustrated of having her go through this process, I wish there was an easier and less discriminatory way.

A tribute to Rose i suppose, Malakas is strong in Tagalog, which is the official language of the Philippines.  I suppose we are all Malakas, daring to take on the American red tape.

None the less, i do apologise for the confusion...lol

From what I have read on this website, the beneficiary’s address isn’t as important until it gets to NVC...you can search on this site and read the input from others
