How are you?

Annoyed, frustrated, impatient, sad - but trying to hang in there!

We decided to cancel our wedding date for end April. Too much stress and although still possible to have my VOH before then, there's too much uncertainty. We might be waiting for NOA2 for another who knows how many days :( We'll rethink the date once we're further along.

Mr Fiance is not concerned anymore at all (now that the date pressure is gone). He's telling me to be patient, it'll come when it comes. And while his peace gives me peace, I'm getting a little frustrated that we're not really on the same page in terms of taking action.

Calling CSC is difficult for him due to work, and even then - I don't know how much use it is apart from maybe finding out we're approved or whether we have an RFE coming. We'll get the hard copy in the mail anyway. I've therefore not pushed him yet to try to call whenever he might have a couple min.

I've also drafted a letter for his senator and have filled out the Privacy Consent form thing, so all he has to do is print, sign, scan and send off, but he wants to wait another week before sending. I don't see the difference in sending now or waiting another week. Oh well....

I just wish that I could take action myself!

*Sigh. Just waitingggg......

Thanks for asking (L)

I understand a little of what you're going through. We just canceled our plans for a March wedding, the fact that we just recently canceled them was partially because my beautiful, though stubborn fiance was in denial was the last couple of months.  We both are very frustrated, but not having a specific date in mind has reduced the stress quite a lot. I take solace in that the process is currently out my hands and there is very little we can do about it. That this is a process and we can't let it interfere with living our lives and being kind and loving to each other.

It's a tough and unfair process, made even slower and tougher this past year. Hang in there!

Sometimes it's better to put it out in words :)

this was the most logical explanation of what is going through everyone's mind. We just decided to put the wedding off 2 months too, not because I don't think I'll make it but to reduce the stress. I think that will be best for both of you too. I am really hoping for you to get something soon...

This has turned  to a lottery game, everyday we keep watching our WAC## to be winning  numbers, only uscis  knows the way they run this lottery. I hope one day our WACs will be the luckiest  numbers😊

Yes! My Mr. wasn't stressing before, I was - so I made the final decision (had to push) to cancel. He actually still wanted to stick to the date a little longer, but he's not been following VJ, so while I've been telling him all along about approvals, slow downs and what not, he is a bit clueless.... Not a problem, but just that made that we had a bit of a fight when we had our call about this because he wasn't seeing it from my point of view.

Suppose the "fight" was all a part of the stress. No date is indeed a lot less stressful.

We're good now :)

Much love to all of us here - so happy that even though this whole process sucks, there's a place where people understand :)

Still promise to reply to your email(s) soon, just haven't taken the time to sit down and reply.
