Something odd just happened.

After this convo with the tier 2 person, I can't access my USCIS account anymore.

I had created an account where I could log in and check the status of my account.

I haven't made bad attempts at logging in. I literally checked it this morning.

So confused.

This happened to anyone else for no reason before??

Now it says:

I hear China Telecom is coming to the Philippines!  They are offering great speeds at great prices.  My one biggest complaint there is the internet.  Globe and Smart both are satisfied with what they have so there are no upgrades or service enhancements.  Duterte warned them that if they didn't get better he would let China in.  They will be there in March and are offering 200 mbps wifi for 1500 php per month with guaranteed speeds.

Stephen: Why is your internet so slow?

Me: Babe, I live in the Philippines! LOL

We had our internet connection upgraded twice and even though it shows in the speed test that it's at 48Mbps, it feels like slower than 5Mbps. So it gets even slower when we're playing video games.

Hello everyone, I booked an appointment at the consulate for next week to get a b2 visa to go see my fiancee. I just wanted to know if it will be a problem while I still have the k1 pending. But I I'm leaving my son here and I have strong ties to my homeland for proof for the day of the interview. Should I say that I have a k1 on the way? Please help. My fiancee visited me 2 times this year and he can't with his job now so he sent me a letter asking for them to grant me a visitors visa for 3 weeks because this is taking so much time. Do you guys think they can deny my a tourist visa?

You should still be able to get a b2 visa but It really depends on how your interview goes.

If you indicated in your b2 application that you have a pending K1, then you definitely should tell them. Either way, they will see it.

There wasn't an option on my visa application to say that I had a k1 pending. But I did say I had a fiance in America and that he is paying and asking for this b2. I looked up all the requirements and I have every thing they are asking for. The only thing I am worried about is that they deny me. They shouldn't normally because I am leaving my 7 year old son behind with my father and he is also included in my k1 visa. I will tell them every thing on the interview day and also show all my proof and paper work I have. My interview date is the 19th. This is taking so long we filed 23 june and my fiance bought a house and was hoping for us to move there by now and now he needs my help. Fingers crossed they have a heart and give me the b2.

You are being generous with the 5mbps!  Sometimes it feel like a 14.4kbps dial up line.  That and the constant "you have used 100% of you daily data" and going to get a week at a time...dont get me started.  Their business model is so foreign to me...well, actually their business model is so strange to me... They can fix it but until China Telecom announced their March start, neither the cellular or PLDT did any upgrades at all.  Now Rose gets texts and brochures everyday for speeds that were not seen before.  They do require a 1 year contract so they are really afraid of China Telecom.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

Thanks Tillie! We went to Manila Ocean Park after the Museum tour.  I do wanna check out La Casas too! :) We're planning to rent a car but I don't know how to drive so I was wondering if he can use his driver's license here. That would be an adventure.

I have an obsession with Jollibee fried chicken. LOL.

I'm getting a lot of ideas. Thanks guys! I think I need to go out more too! LOL

When I was there for my 1st visit my fiancée and I went to Tagaytay seeing one of the world's most complex volcanos.  Its a couple hour drive from Manila.  If your looking at flying anywhere Boracay is one of the top 10 beaches in the world, or Palawan where you can go the Underground River.  This is one of the new 8 wonders of the world.  On my 2nd trip we did Cebu and Bohol, on the island of Bohol there are the Chocolate Hills and a Tarsier sanctuary.  We also went to Legaspi where the world's most symmetrical volcano Mt. Myon is and a hour or so jeepney ride you have Dosol where you can swim with the Whale Sharks (not actual sharks)  that was an amazing experience.

Good luck to us all

If you're NOT from the Philippines, you have a fair chance on the B2 visa.
