Well, just checked informed delivery again, and we just got a new set of junk mail. LOL

Yeah before June or June would be ideal so that it gives them time to adjust, but I'm sure they will love it there! :)

Thinking about all the events we missed and plans we had to move because of the delay with the NOA2 can be frustrating, but one day we'll be with our loved ones. (Trying sooo hard to be positive.) This is just a minor test in our relationships that we'll all get through. ^_^

Like what my fiance told me ..."Soon you'll get to annoy me everyday for the rest of your life." :jest:

That is so true and honestly, the only thing that really matters.  None of this will mean anything once we are in the arms of our loved ones.

@John & Rose If you don't mind me asking, what places did you visit when you were here?

I am staring at my computer and just Googling stuff about what we can do.

It's embarrassing but oh gosh I'm like a tourist in my own country. A week vacation just isn't enough to plan an out of town trip and really enjoy it.

Rose lives just a few blocks from there too.  It's a small world!  I really hope that they can come here before June.  School starts in August here so maybe, if we knew a specific move date, they can just stay out of school for a few weeks to a month.  What gets me is that this isn't just about Rose and myself.  This is Aira's and AJ's life too.  I want them to feel settled and comfortable and not constantly wondering what is going on.

Aira is going to dance some folk dances at the Festival in February.  I am hoping to be there but it will really impact how much time I have with them when the actually move.

Thats my issue too, i so badly want to go see Rizalyn. But it will affect the time off but the financial aspect of everything when she comes home. Plan was spend a week there getting her stuff shipped then fly home and have 2 weeks off together before returning to work. But its getting to the point i just need to hold her in my arms.

I am a firm believer that you can't complain unless you do all you can to change the situation.  Play that lottery and call them to the point that it is a part of your daily routine.  Whats the worst that can happen?

At least you are trying.  Thats the main thing.

You/your fiance has to call bullshit on them.  Say things like... "That data is as of October 31st so since you're quoting that data to me as fact, are you genuinely telling me that over 2 months later, you're still working June 1st, and if so, I'd like to know why you've spent so much time on that date with no movement..." - They are quoting the data from that site at you, and so all you need to do is quote it back at them. They can't say its not accurate cos they just used that data at you - turn it back on them and prove their contradiction... again, whats the worst that can happen?

EDIT: I am SHOCKED that this site will not allow me to say ### (a-s-s), and yet it allows bullshit. LoL

He said to them well our friend approved on June 29th and has had theirs in the post last week so how is that possible they just said I’m sorry but we are only working on June 1st. Can I call them as the beneficiary?

I was hoping for 2 weeks with Rose and the kids to show them around and try to get them comfortable with their new surroundings.  I am really torn.  The Pateros Festival is in February and Aira is dancing in it.  I would love to be there but it will really impact the time we have later.  On the other hand, I don't want to wait until June or July to see them again either.  Because of the variable time between the interview and VOH, I suppose I can skip the interview and just fly there to bring them home.  I also have 3 AOSs to worry about once they get here so that $5000 is spoken for.  We will get through all this no matter what we decide.  One advantage of them coming in summer is I have a little time before I have to get them outfitted for the Chicago winter.

If there was only a way to get that hug.  I know exactly what you mean.  Just for 1 minute to hold each other to recharge my batteries.  Where is that darn transporter from Star Trek!

Day 218.  VJ timeline moves to December 22nd....That is all

It is getting tougher to stay very positive.  We are doing our best but last night we had to discuss if we should pay the kids tuition for next school year.  They start in June and there is a very good chance that they will not be here by then.  So not only do I need to figure out if I will visit now, visit for the interview and trip home or pay their tuition for the next school year.  It is due in June and it is a one time payment.

This has been such a roller coaster.  We started out believing we would be together for Christmas.  Then we worried about the kids finishing the school year in March.  Now I'm worried about their next school year.  I honestly do not see this ever happening.  It is January 10 and we have seen 5 or 6 mail only approvals.  There are 2200 June filers still waiting.  I believe it will be quicker to stop now and do a CR-1.  NOA2s for the CR-1 per the  Facebook group was only 3 months.  There are people there who were at POE with green card (and more money in their pocket) in under 10 months.  We are lucky if we are at POE in under a year and we also get to pay at least an extra $1000 for the privilege of being delayed.

Thanks, I needed that.  Now lets get this thing moving again.  Good luck to all of us.

consider online private/homeschool for that year to make it easy in both situations?   there are a ton of options (if the speak English)  and some are very affordable. just throwing it out there as an option since its a tricky situation. :-)

That is another good thought.  Thank you.

Ya im like you, three plane tikets, 3 AOS to file. As much as i want to be there for the interview, that wont happen. But i am going to go and flyback with her for sure. I was told by nvc they expect my noa2 to be receive between today and the 20th. Then up to 2 weeks for processing (rediculous). But i’m still figuring with fingers crossed march will be our month for poe.

But my week this week so far has been just crazy full of emotions. Tears coming out of no where. The type only her hug could take away. But i know every day that passes is one day close to her in my arms and our family together.
