agreed, and the last group of 15 NVC files took avg. 53 days to arrive and stayed about a week before leaving....

I can't see any of this improving anytime soon with the TPS/DACA headlines everyday. The government right now likes that immigration is moving at a glacial pace and that somehow our suffering will prove our future spouse is genuine. It's sick.

we had our RFE in the mailbox today.

"...Evidence of the beneficiary's intent may be a statement from the beneficiary, the couple wedding preparations or other evidence that clearly establishes her intent to marry"

i think its kinda silly that they wanna have more that i am intent to marry him...

we sent a letter which we both signed, pictures, flighttickets etc. with the application. but well...

actally nothing easier than that. we will send all our wedding contracts with the location, dj, cake, caterer etc. and a statement from me that im looking forward of having a life and growing a family with him, also that im getting ready to move as soon as i can..

i hope all that will satisfy them :mellow:

FOR THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR NOA2 SHIP DATE TO NVC

could you please @ me?

Im looking for trends on when they send their shipments because I do know they send in bulk.

So based on when USCIS told you it was sent and based on when NVC said it should be there, maybe we can determine a rough estimate for when they ship?..

ie: approvals 1st through 14th get shipped on the 15th and 15th to the end of the month get shipped the 1st of the following month...

@Sabi486

It says “statement from the beneficiary “

You didn’t make a statement but rather signed his.

Make your own and sign it.

You should just send what they ask for. No more no less. I would have the beneficiary write a letter of intent and send that ASAP. Our petition included 2 letters. One from me with my intent to marry Rose and one from Rose with her intent to marry me.

it does not have to be anything elaborate we basically said said we were able and would to be married within 90 days of POE.  basically the same letter from each of us other than changing the locations names on each form, and we were approved.

Also, The letter can be done on computer but the signature has to be a wet one.. That's what I've heard and what we did. One letter from him, one from me that I mailed him.
