Bit the bullet and booked him a ticket to come to the UK in February - we haven't seen each other since March, and I refuse to go past a year apart, which is pretty much guaranteed right now to be past March.

PS - Midday scan is in progress and almost finished.

My Fiance is planning a trip too.

Funny because I feel like I'm gonna see him for the first time again.

It's a mix of excitement and a bit of freaking out. LOL

So, I was looking at Igor's List and noticed that there are not NOA2's for June listed after a week ago (1/2). Reading this thread I know there have been some approvals after that. Are people not updating their timelines or does Igor's List just take a while to update with the new entries?

I have been saying the same thing for a while now, we might not know what is going on with the USCIS but if people would update Igor's list at least we might see where and what dates the USCIS is working, one of the reasons for the web site is to see a time line isn't it?  so please can everyone update with RFE & NOA2 for the sake of the rest of us...... please!

Ive been sick for 2 months thinking about this process. I feel because of this mix up in November my case inquiry threw my file to be the last one!!

Definitely not the case since I made an enquiry and although not approved yet, I do know I've been looked at because had an RFE and sent it back the next day.

Tier 2 said today that it would be 10 days max from the date they received the response (yeah right - I wont hold my breath).  @Lisa & Jorge - what do you think?? LOL

In other comments - I thought RapidVisa were supposed to make the process a little faster because of well organized layouts for adjudicators etc etc.... I'd be 'annoyed' (insert a better more expressive word here), if I paid all that extra and I was still waiting so far behind other people, and I know they have no real power, but I'd still be 'annoyed'.  I feel bad for those of you who did so.

I'm going to talk to Rose and the kids tonight.  Since we expect another 5 or 6 months of waiting we will decide as a family if I should visit in February and not be there for the interview and flight home.  I don't have enough time available to visit now and again when they get their visas.  This really sucks.

Rapidvisa goes out of there way to say they have no impact on the process at all.  All they do is help put together a package that has been reviewed and scrutinized and "may" eliminate the need for RFEs.  So far their track record is pretty good.  I have only heard of one Rapidvisa user that got an RFE and it was for a file that was already included.  One of the potentially purposeful RFEs to show movement.

With great difficulty, but facts were facts... I was struggling alot financially, and he doesn't make much either, so all of our finances went into the visa process, and into securing our home together (since I wasn't gonna give up my life here to live with his mom)......

I rent, I dont own, so yeah - its all a bit of a struggle but very much worth it.  Now though, the facts look a little different, and I just refuse to hit that one year point, so, February it is.  HOPEFULLY I'll just be following him back a few weeks later.

I hear you.

I will be moving to my fiancé’s parents, but will only be temp.

Luckily we have been able to see one another, but it’s not cheap at all!

Im happy you’re going to see him. Gives you something to look forward to. :)

Do you think they will give us back the difference in fee increase for waiting this long to help us with our, now more expensive, summer flights? 😂😂😂😂

Ugh. Today sucks. Really feeling it today.

I hear you, we even have our noa2. You think that would have reveived some stress, it did for like 2 days until we found out about the extra long nvc times. Now the added wait for nvc is just causing more stress and nonsence arguing. We are on our longest time apart since we met 2 years ago. And lately just praying we just make it to the interview.:(

today really really sucks.😢

The real killer in the process lately is NVC in my eyes... there is NO reason it should take 50+ days to send paper to another agency. It blows my mind. Hell, I'd give them $500 to mail a box of applications to NVC just to be able to continue my life. I'm so ready to protest in front of their office.

It's not true. NVC converts them to electronic files and sends to the embassy

I don't blame you. I paid for Savannah to come see me this weekend for the week... Also paying her lost wages because she doesn't get holiday pay. Have so much respect for you going so long without seeing each other! How can they justify charging so much for this entire process when they clearly don't worry about the service they provide.
