Well, that's all we can hope for, I figure that they think if they don't up date NOA2's on line people can't see that they have been passed over and won't be on the phone all the time, after all, with out the internet we wouldn't have any idea what they are doing!

We don't have a clue anyway 😂😂😂

Does anyone think that being a June 30th filer whether I will be there by May?

As a 6/30, I have put it into my head that it will be late May/June. Anything earlier will be a pleasant surprise. 😁

No one can say for sure but it's definitely within the realm of possibility atm

Could I remind fellow VJ's to update their info, someone yesterday got their paper NOA2 be haven't updated yet, it might not make a lot of difference but at least we can see how far along the time line is.

Hm.....I'm starting to think that whomever does the data entry part habitually or is instructed to do the update the (previous day's???) RFE's in the morning and the acceptances in the afternoon/evening......

Nah - some days it is approvals in the morning and RFEs in the afternoon.  As someone who has been scanning this data now twice a day for a long time...... thats definitely not the case.

They should really organize how they do the approvals. I think it can be a reason (tho minor) why things are going slow.

Also, a full update on the changes in the process. Knowing why it is going slow would help all of us and lessen the anxiety.

I’m gonna say I’m not gonna expect anymore, but I know deep inside, I will.

As another 6/30, I originally had the plans to be out there for a charity event in the second week of April. It's heart-breaking, both because this is taking so long, and because I hate to let the people running the charity event down. Now we'll be lucky if it's May.

Hi all,

happy new year. Hope this year brings us all closer to our love ones. Just a quick update, I contacted the NVC on Friday and was advised my file is still not there and my approval date was Dec 07. Not sure if anyone else had any luck. Hoping and praying the rest of the June bugs have good news soon and also hoping this process goes quicker this year.

I'm early June and I say the same.  May 14 at the earliest if we get approved today.  We didn't...  😛

Expect 6 to 8 weeks (closer to 8) for USCIS to get the files to NVC.  You should hear something between January 18 and February 8 at the latest.

I just had an argument with my fiance, I said as he is the petitioner so he is the one that can call USCIS and find out information.  He says that I can call too, as their phone system gives an option for beneficiaries! I feel that I have read it a million times on this forum that only the petitioner can call! I am right!?

He called and got told by a tier 1 agent that we are in normal processing time!

either of you can. But It is better if the Petitioner do it since he is the citizen I guess?
