I am on the same page! Its frustrating but oh well as long as we spend time with each other I will be all set. My fiance he patient but I believe his is wearing away jaja cuz he told me I think these morons forgot about us jaja I was like a lot of people are on wait not just us.. I was like so whenever the interview happens you go with confidence because I am going shortly over there.. Not waiting a year to see you! So yes 208 days then If I call to inquire its an automated machine idk how I can speak with an actual person 😠😤😕

When you call the number after listening to when they have received your petition press 3 and u will get a rep. then you can request to speak to someone higher. I will be calling today to find out.

I just spoke to a Tier 2 officer and she told me it takes them 45 days to send our apps to NVC! I made her repeat it just in case I misheard but if that is true, my app should be in NVC soon!

So, my fiancee, who is the USC, works during the same hours as USCIS basically, and doesn't ever have a chance to call them. Can I, as the beneficiary, call them from here?

They generally will not speak to the beneficiary at the USCIS level.  I believe you will be able to contact NVC but USCIS only speaks to the petitioner.

Hopefully others will chime in.  I am just going by what I've been reading over the last 7 months.

I feel like it asks on the options when you call if the caller is the bene of the petitioner which means (I would assume) they take calls from both parties??? idk.. just my thoughts and I oculd be wrong

Hmmmm... that kind of corresponds with the nvc spreadsheet but the latest date listed on there is Nov 15 that has made it to NVC

USCIS last week said they mailed it, NVC said they do not have it. Not sure I have the energy to make another call.

These calls take a lot out of me, since there’s emotion involved.

The old "checks in the mail" line, huh?  This is so pathetic!  I just wish ANYONE there cared at all...

I rang, and I’m the beneficiary. On the phone it states you must be the representative, the petitioner or applicant.

I stated I was the applicant and she transferred the call to a tier 2. However when the tier 2 rang back, my fiancé answered, and told them he was passing the phone to me.

Its worth a try, however, there is honestly nothing you will get from them you don’t already know.

Good luck.
