I am not a June filer. But I am curious, is the current processing times 6 months or is it longer?

Day 216 here.  We are crossing over 7 months.  There are about 120 of us June 6 filers without any notification so far.

I am so jealous of your timeline.  113 to NOA2 and 164 to interview!  Those were the days.  Our interview will be 10 or 11 months from NOA1 if we are lucky.

August Lurker here!

Is a CR-1 a viable option after filing the K1 (and deciding to forgo it)? I've been warned many times that you can't enter the states with immigrant intent if you don't have an immigrant visa. Would entering on a tourist visa, to marry and file the CR-1, be a violation of that?

I'm pretty sure the AOS way would definitely be a violation, especially after filing for the K1. Reeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllly wishing we'd found some way to go that route, though, or we were in a situation to allow it. :(

Well, tomorrow marks the 6 weeks mark since NOA2 for me!  A staffer at my congressman's office filed an inquiry with USCIS last Wednesday, so perhaps we'll hear back about that in the next week or so.  Still don't expect much, but it beats me having to sit on the phone with USCIS myself!

On a lighter note, we've just about nailed down our venue for our NZ wedding next year, and things are shaping up for our U.S. reception in March :)

You’re getting married in NZ?

Hello to everyone.
I'm really confused about the situation with June 6th filers. Does anybody know or have a clue wha't wrong? It's just weird for me how one single date is affected that much. I mean, 06/06 are not the most "angelic" numbers, but If anyone could shed some light for me regarding this matter,  I would appreciate it.

Wish fast approval and smooth process to everyone, hang in there.

But that still takes 12 to 14 months before the beneficiary can move to the states.

Day 215 here getting fed up of the wait now i expected to at least get the medical done by now :(

Day 216 waiting on NOA2 here and the original VJ timeline would have had them in the states between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes, this is more than frustrating.

violation.  you would be risking everything if you took that route.  you actually have to prove to USCIS that you DIDNT come on a tourist visa to marry the petitioner.  you have to prove you were here for tourist reasons, met the bene during that time and fell in love and got married while you were here.. I advise against it as if they find out you are lying, you could be band from immigrating to the US altogether...  don't risk it.. just have patience. its super painful I know. <3

Ok people. It is the first full work week of 2018. Let’s hope that USCIS is settling in for a real full week of work. A new day, a new sunrise, a new start.

I have a feeling its going to be a good week for you.  and a lot of others/us.
