@IshTre & @Trinab80 although British born, my grandparents (both sides) originate from JA. St Catherine, st Anne’s and my grandma Lola is from Portland. She recently past just before my fiancé (who calls me fake Jamaican) proposed to me. I believe that she had an impact on this. She had dementia and constantly asked if I was married. So thank you granny for speaking it into exsistance 😘😊

I am sorry to hear about your loss-- but your grandmother definitely spoke your marriage into existence. And Jamaicans hold on to their identity even 7 generations removed. Strong roots, strong history, Shout out to St. Catherine and Portland.

 I KNOW!

I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW IT.

There was one case 5 away from mine.

I excitedly texted my fiance to tell him and he was like "it doesn't mean anything"

I’m in the UK, so they do not permit the USC to be present, however they do allow them onsite if they are emailed beforehand.

I'm optimistic but will see how it goes. I’ve seen worse cases been approved and lighter offences not approved, so I believe it’s purely up to the interviewer.

I didn’t realise they weren’t allowed to be present.. at the window during the interview in London.

With your situation, they’re doing the background checks on your F now, the petitioner. By the time you get to interview, I believe that you would’ve got the green light on his past. x

I’ve read a few reviews on here. It’s nice they are still allowed in. I guess that it’s only a small amount on here, and fewer that leave a review. There probably has been some that have been able to sit there. I want mine present tbh. I need that support! Plus this is his doing so he can face it with me lol
