We just got denied :( they didn't even request for more evidence

Very  sad, bad news  😢😢. Have you ever  met  with  your  fiance in person  within  2 years before  filing  that petition?

I think  the option now, you should  get married  and file for spouse  visa.

Sorry to hear that. Did you submit everything? http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Any idea why? You should submit again with a stronger amount of support

Well, they told me my fiancé was deported from USA many years ago. Information my fiancé “forgot” to share with me. I feel a bit betrayed and I am having a hard time with it. It might have a fix but just the fact he forgot to mention this event from me throws me off track so much that I have considered (less now, than yesterday) ending our relationship. He is a good man and a bit on the naive side. But still I feel betrayed.

Haven’t read other replies however I would suggest not doing anything rash. Digest it for a few weeks and think it through. In the end you need to decide but it’s better to take some time before doing so.

Hi, I am so sorry to hear you got denied, I am sure you are feeling stunned and hurt by the news but I agree with George & Roth, try not to do anything to hasty, try to come to terms with what has happened and see if there is a way forward,  if it helps rant and rave at us on this site to vent your anger!

Okay.  I know that this has probably been asked before but I want to check again.  I have seen that some people's beneficiary's have called USCIS.  Is this okay or does the petitioner have to call?  I have seen a few comments on the forum here in which the beneficiary has called and talked to USCIS without issue.  If that's the case then I've got my fiance ready to start calling when we hit 6 months.  He is very good on the phone and also skilled at getting information from people.  Can anyone confirm if this will work?  Otherwise I will have to start calling from work and that's gonna make things a biiiit tricky.

Yes I have rang and spoke to a tier 1 (I’m the beneficiary).

when the tier 2 called back, my fiancé briefly stated that he was passing the phone to me, which the teir 2 was fine with. It does state when pressing the options that it needs to be the representative, applicant or petitioner.

All you can is try. If they don’t accept the call then get your fiancé to call or do it if your together, if that’s anytime soon.

I’m sorry to hear this.

Was you advised this after receiving a letter? If so, what does it say? If not wait until it comes.

i know you had some concerns due to your fiancé and her child overstaying, and I too didn’t think that this would effect the noa2.

However, I know it’s horribke to have waited so long to be told this, but you still have options.

Get married and file again.

I wish you luck, as this can happen to any of us.

What about marry in a country you both can enter without a VISA?

Then k-3 petition to bring in your spouse?

Does it carry any more weight?

Yes, I believe that would be another option.

Yes, it better to marry in a country that both can enter. K3 visa is obsolete. CR1 visa is used for spouses who are married less than a year. The process is longer than K1 but the beneficiary would be a legal permanent resident after receiving the green card when she enters the US POE.

Will look into it! Thanks
