Hey guys.

I just read that your petition expires 4 months after approval? EXCUSE ME ?

how is that okay? I mean I can’t control uscis, NVC or embassy processing times?

Can we extend those 4 months? I mean this can’t be it? We got approved December 11th and I highly doubt I will have my Interview appointment by April 11th. It’s going to be in April but still.

This is BS! What can we do about that?

Wait a minute - did I miss something? Petition expires after 4 months from approval date? But it can take USCIS up to NINETY DAYS (aka 3 months) to even send it to the NVC? Listen, I know they don't care about any of us, but we paid A LOT OF MONEY for this service, and something like that could cause someone to miss their allotted time and not get their visa. Am I being dramatic, or is that accurate?

I saw someone say they can extend if necessary - how does that happen? I find it hard to expect them to automatically extend all due dates because let's face it, that would take more effort/work and they don't seem to be quick on their feet as it is. How do you get it extended?

Håll ut, y'all.

I wouldn't get too hopeful about after hour workers because they always update RFE received after hours. It varies a lot, it took them 12 days to acknowledge that we sent the RFE response, so at least yours was quick. Hopefully you get approved within 2 weeks.
