Well, I'm on day 37 of the NVC wait - next Monday will be 6 weeks since NOA2.   Today I filed a request to have my congressman's staff inquire at USCIS on my behalf (because there's nothing I'd rather do less than call them myself!).  I'm sure they won't get anything useful back, but it's worth a shot, I guess.

Yes keep us posted for sure. I was thinking of that as well. My NOA2 say will be received by NVC in 2-4 weeks. So as soon as i hit 4 weeks i will be calling my senators office again.

Well this sucks day 187, June 30th here.. and nothing I go back to the UK today after being with my fiancé for two weeks over Xmas and still haven’t heard nothing!

Feeling cery emotional having to leave him again. They really don’t realise how much hurt we go through and taking as long as it does just makes the pain worse!

Dont mean to be all down but just feeling really low knowing I have to leave him again today!

Hang in there. I feel exactly the same when my fiancé leaves from a visit here in Manila. June 30th here too. We will have our time, just keep the faith.

yea I completely understand... I didn't get a notice until I was at day 210 (yesterday)... and it was an RFE... so I hope you hear before I did since June 6 is  weird day I guess, but I would also suggest just accepting that the odds are that you will probably receive info around day 200 if not after... that's unfortunately the way this is going  :-(   its great you got to spend some time with your fiancé . just take one day at a time  <3 <3

Same I'm still in the US visiting for christmas I go back to the UK end of Jan. 228 days we've been waiting and still no NOA2 we filed may 25th.

I'm so frustrated with it all USCIS can't tell us anything and says our visa is in processing times.

The case right after mine was sent an RFE. Day 202 here and it hasn't been touched. I got back from seeing my fiance in the UK over Christmas a week ago and still haven't heard a thing. I start up school again in less than a week and I was hoping for some good news - this is slowly crushing my soul.

Don't feel bad everyone is allowed to complain... I really don't get the USCIS everytime we ring we get nowhere they say we still have 60 days until your case is out of processing times.

And honestly our case is very straight forward from what I think we are both military and met whilst serving together in Germany in 2014.

But thank you me too... when I return to the UK at the end of January I am unemployed as I had to give a years notice to leave the military... theres me thinking back in January 2017 that it would be more than enough time. So that is even more stress adding to my life.

I hope everyone in here gets a speedy approval and doesn't have to wait as long as us

Anything is worth a shot at this point. I wrote my congressman last month and my response back was as useful as a Tier 1 call takers:/ frustrating

Those RFEs freak me out. I'd rather wait 20 more days than deal with 19 days of delay due to an RFE.

Most of my words are being used to convince myself that the wait is OK.  I miss Rose's touch, smell, smile every second.  I have never wanted to spend every moment of everyday with a partner, including my ex wife.  I want to be by Rose's side until my last breath.  The wait is killing me because every second that ticks is a second we cant share together.  The kids school and weather are great excuses but if I really had a choice, we would be together right now...

I agree 1000% I miss Lanie so very much.
