So I spoke to a Tier 2 yesterday and she was one of the rudest people In which I have ever spoken. I spoke in a calm and professional manner, but she would cut me off and yell at me when I refuted what she was telling me. She was saying the same old “you’re still with normal processing” and the “website is correct and we are just starting June cases.” She then proceeded to hang up on me when I asked her for her name.

So I called back this morning to report her unprofessional demeanor and asked to speak to a different Tier 2. This gentleman was much nicer, but stayed to the same story and wouldn’t give me any further information on why it’s taking so long or if my case was assigned or not. I am a June 23rd flier, and he said that I’m still within normal processing time, but I will be out of normal time in 20 days, in which I replied that I would have been out of normal processing already if they didn’t stop updating the website, so what prevents me from the same situation in 20 days. He did not have an answer.

In summary, while calling a Tier 2 seemed to be helpful to some, it was a complete waste of time for me. I knew more about what’s going on through this blog than they did. Thought I’d share.

It was a waste of time for me too.  Still within normal processing times and they just started June 1 petitions.  When I mentioned June 22 approvals he said that was not true and no late June approvals have been issued...

I used

7 months NOA2

2 months USCIS to NVC

1 month NVC

1 month Interview

Perfect! This will guide my sanity as my timeline is almost approaching the 7 month USCIS!

👌

Ooh! It's so sad!

Seriously, I have made some calculations to help me stay patient for this whole process because I'm an October Filer.

6months+ ---> USCIS (NOA2)

50-60 days ---> NVC

60 days ---> Interview

Yeah, pretty much all of June is over 6 months at this point (a few got approved before). If this trend continues, it could be much longer for October as they seem to take 11 weeks to get through a month of applications. I hope they pick it up for you. Waiting is bad enough, but their complete disregard to give us any information makes it worse to me.

Hopefully it goes quicker.  NVC can be 2 months (6 weeks to get the file from USCIS and 2 weeks to review).  I felt like I needed to add some padding there.

Yeah, they tried to pull that ####### on me too. I replied that I have proof that there are approvals well into June and even offered to give her case numbers to verify, she just asked me why I called since I have more information than they do. I then asked her if she finds that sad that I know more about her job than she does. She did not seem to appreciate my sarcasm, but I couldn’t resist.

Hello everyone !

Need some advices..

Just got the new that my fiancé is getting deployed next Thursday for probably a year !

We June 6th filers with no Noa2 yet..

We feel completely lost..

He wonder if I can extend my k1 visa (when delivered) waiting for him with his fam in the US?! Or If we could put our petition on hold? Or if by not being fast in the process I can slow down to a year? I try to think about everything right now 😔
