Hey everyone,

Sorry I've been a bit absent... my relationship hit a rocky patch and almost ended, (as so many do at this stage when the frustration and anger sets in).... he hadn't been too bothered until now and suddenly decided to start taking his newfound frustration out on me, but anyway.... its all over now and we're back to calm so here I am!

Looking forward to a good day today with lots of approvals, (I HOPE)

I'm so sorry :(

This happened to us a week or so again.

It was a horrible feeling.

I made crying sounds I had never made before lol :D

I can laugh about it now, but it was pretty hard to go through.

This feeling of limbo is the worst.

I can't plan or be productive here in Canada nor can I actually plan for my future in the States.

The hard part is... I know that, and my love will get through this... I can't control his though, ya know?

Anyway, like I said, all over for now!  Lets hope the approval comes soon.

Hi all!

June 5th here - day 184. Passed our VJ timeline by one day.

@John & Rose I tried to submit (another) online request, but got the below message, so nope! not possible :(

image.png.18eae26e3aef9424c78a183a064cb7ab.png

I was afraid they would start using the date on the website that gets updated once a month. Now we have to wait until they pass our date on the website.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I think the majority of us have been through it. It’s understandable, it’s not easy, not is it a normal situation. But I’m thankful for those moments, as we come back stronger.

I got curious fter reading daleguthery 's signature.

I have no idea what a CFO seminar is and do I need to do that now, or should I wait for the NOA2?

I know I said this a couple of times here already, but this waiting thing is making me anxious. Makes me wanna do cartwheels. LOL

Plus saw @John & Rose's signature, now I am very confused on what I need to do.

Basically, I just want to know if there is something I should be doing already while waiting. Just to make me feel like things are moving.

Hello Junies! This is the fiancée checking in today from Manila, Philippines. Tony is in Hawaii for work.

I am starting to get impatient waiting for our NOA2 so Tony told me to read through the June filers' forum. I'm glad he signed us up here. I like the support system in this group.

Congratulations to all who have been approved! To those who are still waiting for the elusive NOA2, hang in there. Our time will come. :pop:

@Tony and Tillie, you are not alone. My fiance checks the case tracker everyday. He checks it more than I do.

It's a seminar that all Filipinos leaving the Philippines to immigrate have to go thru.

Congratulations to all the Junies that have been approved already! Such amazing news and such a positive for everyone still waiting! I am really hoping that something will come our way soon! June 15 filer here. I actually handed in my notice at my work (probably a little prematurely, but I was sure by Christmas we would have heard something!) as my contract was ending and I didn't want to extend if I were only to stay a little while... now... will this affect me as the beneficiary at all? I remember putting down all my employment in the last 5 years on the petition so I am wondering will I need to let USCIS know that I am no longer working prior to interview? I am aware that it is the petitioner that is financially tested not the beneficiary, but as I remember listing my employment I just thought I'd ask...

Don't worry, employment status or lack thereof has no bearing on a K1 visa

That's what I do too. Lol. Tony doesn't even check it. He just logs in here, read thru posts, check what's in the news, then tells me "we will get there honey".

If your in Manila then get it done out of the way. For us, we’re waiting until we can schedule medical since my fiance has to come in from Palawan.
