Just wanted to share a quick update. We were invited to interview at the US Embassy in Yerevan a few days ago. the website took a few days to give us an appointment date but it finally gave us an opening on the 11th.  However, we will not be interviewing for now per my lawyers advice. She has not heard of a single applicant that has been given a visa, including spouses and children.  No iranian immigrant has received a visa (all categories) since the trump travel ban took effect on December 4th. Our lawyer advised us that the best thing to do is to try and extend our NOA2 expiration date as long as possible until the laws change. We are praying that the 4th circuit appeals court and the supreme court find this whole thing unconstitutional before our NOA2 expires. Otherwise, we will have to start all over..

I get so upset with situations like that...I'm mean I get F&@$$K angry 😡...

Why they don't denied the petition with the NOA2?... instead of that, they let the person go through the whole process, given an approval with a NOA2? Maybe this person has already given up his house, job, said goodbye to friends and family... 

to go to an interview and get denied??

That is Sadomasochism to me...

Don't understand me wrong... but not everybody wants to live in the US... most of us are going because our fiancé can't or it is better for our future to be in the US for now...

 

Forgive me if I offended someone....It's not my intention at all .. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes... People from those countries can also follow in love...

also weird is that they chose Berlin as my consulate when I thought only Frankfurt is handling the K1 Visa.

I would love to upload a photo of the notice but for some reason it’s not letting me upload anything.

I know this is late, and hopefully not already addressed. But when I mentioned the Frankfurt office to my fiance (who lives in Bonn), he said, "I'm pretty sure it's going to be in Berlin." And I said, "We'll see who's right." That's so odd, because everyone talks about the Frankfurt office! It is, and isn't a huge deal for him, His parents are from that part of the country, so he'll go home and visit them for his interview. But that's a REALLY LONG trip considering there's an embassy right by him.

that means alot to me but  considering the odds i knew i would be getting an RFE.... the GOOD NEWS IS - its SUPER EASY - they want proof i met him this spring..... sooooooo im copying my passport page which i may have failed to do the last time (DERRPPP) and the flight tickets again both ways, and more photos and writing another letter and sending it off tomorrow overnight.... BOOM.

Ill share in another fresh post - Day 210 for me (June 6 filer) .  I have had no notifications what-so-ever until informed delivery today told me i was receiving something from USCIS,  which was an RFE for providing more info that I have met him within the last 2 years - I went to see him in end of May 2017 which was the only time, and filed right after. However i think i forgot to photo copy the passport page with the stamp and only sent one set of airline tickets and minimal photos ( that werent dated) so im sending more photos, both sets of tickets, and the obv copy of passport and drafting another letter stating i was there. this is EASY PEASY  -- ill send everything back tomorrow afternoon overnight and we shall go from there.... thanks for all your support and know that theres a good change early juners are getting notifications without updates.

Make sure there are dates on the things you send if they're asking for proof you met within 2 years. Good luck hopefully you get approved fast.

WELL 198 days active and FINALLY some action... even if it is a RFE lol. My love (the petitioner) is in the uk with me at the moment until mid jan so we can’t even check the packet  til she gets home. Do they tell you any specifics about what they want when they send a RFE? We sent plenty of evidence and were meticulous about all the things they requested so I’m gearing up to send them a slew of up to date evidence 😂
