Uscis is holding cases 6-8 weeks. NOT including NVC working on the  cases.

I handle immigration issues for Congressman Cummings and I am in receipt of your request for assistance. I was able to look up the current status of the application you filed on behalf of your fiancée, and I see that the application was approved at the USCIS level on December 11. The application will now move to the National Visa Center for further processing and the scheduling of your fiancée’s interview with State Department officials. You are about 50% of the way through the process.

 

Would you like us to follow up on your case for you? It takes approximately 6-8 weeks for all documentation to transfer from USCIS to the National Visa Center, so it is not likely that we will be able to obtain additional information on the status of the application until sometime in February, but if you are interested, I would be happy to track the applications process and send a letter of support to the Embassy prior to your fiancée’s interview. If this is something you think you might be interested in, please let me know at your convenience.

Just to clarify guys and I don’t want to be rude or mean and tease you guys here that have not been approved yet. 

That really isn’t my intention. I hope I’m not offending anybody. 

I just want to give everybody as much I formation as possible. I know I like to know everything about this process we’re in.

So we are (maybe) looking at May-June weddings,  Much nicer than the November-December I was planning when I started this Journey.      We will get there one day.  This processes had me more stressed than I expected.  But then my job is planning and budget so this is torture seeing dates keep slip by, but then I knew they were estimates....  Hardest aspect for me is not being able to plan ahead,  but this is a good life lesson.

I just hope I receive a notification soon so that I can be "almost 50%" through the process...

It is what it is.  There is no offense.  There is no reason to kill the messenger!  We already knew the it is a couple months for USCIS to NVC.  Sad but true.

Just want to spread as much info as possible. So people can know and plan ahead. I know many are having troubles with work and house/ apartment lease.

Sounds plausible. 

I myself expect interview stage to be at the earliest in March, realistically in April. May at the latest.

guess what guys ! I checked informed delivery today and I'm getting something from USCIS ! --- ill let you know at the end of the day what - my mail comes late and I'm at work anyway.......... I'm june 6 filer... nothing was updated on line for me.  so I hope this gives a lot of June 6ers some hope ..... looks like they aren't updating...............
