Hello everyone, I asked this question earlier, but it remained unanswered! Is there a way to track online if my case has reached NVC. ceac.state.gov works only when I have the NVC number, but I would like to track online/since calling from Armenia will be quite expensive/ if my case has reached NVC. I would appreciated if anyone can answer. Thanks! and Happy New Year in advance to all of us! Let all our dreams come true)

You can't track your case online. It takes 6 to 8 weeks now to receive a NVC case number.

 

Here's a guide if you received your NOA2.

This is a great write-up. 

 

I recommend everybody make sure your fiance is prepared for packet 3 requirements. For example I found the Cambodia requirements https://kh.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/80/2016/06/K1-Visa-Instruction-English-09JUN2016.pdf

 

See if you can find them for your country. By looking at it she asked around and discovered that in order to get the criminal background check she needed another document which she did not have, now she just went and got it so no waste of time later. 

 

Therefore, you do not do this packet 3 stuff right now but just make sure you are prepared to do them as soon as the consulate instructs to begin. Right after they contact my fiance she will have all packet 3 done within a week.

My RFE is extremely annoying but easy to fix.

Firstly let me state, that Tier 2 are liars.  Fiance called on the 21st ,which is when they said we had an RFE and it had been sent out on the 19th.

He called again on the 23rd, and they said it had been registered on the 19th and mailed on the 22nd.

 

Funny that todays RFE has a dated postmark for the 27th huh?

 

Anyway - its a request for a letter of intent to marry from me (beneficiary)...... it was absolutely 100% included in the original bundle - which was all scanned and placed in a dropbox before sending it off.

Anyway - new one done and we'll overnight it back to them on Tuesday so hopefully - that will be that.

My RFE asked for both letters as well, but i mailed the original letters. I didn't think about updating my letters because they have the same info; how we met and established our relationship.

Overwhelming but just having patience and reading others getting approved gives me hopes that mines soon will be approved also.. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year 🎉 2018 will be better..

I've been seeing on Facebook about people that called the USCIS about their petition in the USCIS told all of them they would hear something by 210 days and they told that to a few people what I do know is that they also lie so I don't know if that's true, I seen one person so far waited 235 days, I am trying to stay as positive as I can it is hard I'm at 188 days and seeing how long NVC is taken and seeing that it's a lot of people are at 200 days and over haven't received the Noa2  yet and makes me lose so much hope

I'm the beneficiary so I didn't call myself. My fiance called.  

He told them that the website is hugely out of date and he paid good money at a time when a three month wait was standard and that he demanded to speak with a Tier 2.  He also said something along the lines of "I'm not being rude to you personally  but there is nothing you can say or do to change my request to speak to a Tier 2, and I know its my right to request to speak to a higher level than you, so thats what I'd like"

WE GOT APPROVED!! 23rd of December, hardcopy sent on 26th and arrived on Saturday 30th... Fiance's mom didn't check what was in the mail on Saturday but checked it on Sunday Morning. Jason called me his early morning and I was chatting my usual self and he said "can you be quiet for a little bit and look what I am holding" * I peeks on what he is holding up in front of the camera and see I the official USCIS letter and saw approved!!!! * I am screaming OMG REALLYYYYY!!! OMG OMG, SERIOUSLY?! WE ARE APPROVED?! OMG" Insert cry and laughter and omg's
