If she was here I was planning to buy Christmas gifts, but since she’s not and we never celebrated it during the 5 years I lived in Cambodia with her...does that mean I don’t buy anything?

I’m saving for a house.

Well, since you never really celebrated Christmas, I don’t think you need to buy her anything. Besides, you can get her something even if it’s not Christmas and that would be sweeter. Receiving gifts just out of the blue is sweet.

Plus you’re saving for a house and that’s some long term thing right there! I’d say a new house would be the best gift you can give to the both of you.

Hmm as a woman I'd say sure don't buy anything..

real woman in me: maybe something to remember by

money is really not important here :) just a tiny surprise because you're both missing each other?

But don't mind me I am just that crazy girl who keeps everything saying it's memory 😂😂

A gift does not mean you have to spend (a lot of) money. Look through your chat history and find one of your very first conversations that really brings back memories and warm and fluffy feelings. Print and frame it. Voila.

Love that idea! I once got some photos of us printed by shutterfly. Maybe you can do that and send it to her @George & Roth 👍🏽

Usually the girls say not to buy anything but it means if you don’t buy you’re in trouble.

I’m with you guys, I’ll surprise her with something.
