I have to admit, that I was  doing really well until the 6 month mark... and after thanksgiving its been going down hill inside my heart... after Christmas now I really feel discouraged...  I never ever ever thought it would be this long to receive NOA2... and it just makes it worse that so much of June apps received after me are receiving notices.. that's what makes it the hardest.. but I pray and believe and hang out with you guys all day hahaha

I think the holidays are just not making it any easier, plus we came in with some type of timeframe and not seeing it unfold the way it was supposed to and to top it off taking even way longer than expected with no real answer as to why this delay is happening just make a real recipe for an emotional tornado. I’m up and down and up again and it also started around thanksgiving ironically the date to give “thanks” 🙏🏻😂😂😂 thanks a lot Trump!

Some pages back, (couldn't find the post sorry), someone mentioned that scheduling an in-person appointment at a USCIS center may yield a better response than the Tier I / II calls, email-inquiries or congressman letters.

Anyone tried an in-person appointment? Does this affect anything / provide any additional information?

Thanks.

I was told that by one of the reps who I spoke to. So I have an appointment scheduled for Jan 4th. We’ll see... my mom helped my brother with his fiancé visa and said that shortly after visiting the local field office they got results but then again my brother was military at that time lol... who knows 🤷‍♀️ At this point I’m just trying anything.

I wouldnt stress that. As for what i put on our meeting. We met on a dating site, i didnt send any statement about the site. I put the dates we were together and where. Thats all i put, no long story or deep explination. And only sent one pasport picture of each of us. I was affraid of getting rfe too, but no we were approved. So i guess you just never know with them.

What a relief! Thanks 😥

Yes, I understand that but at least it is in a box for the CSC to think about sending to the NVC.   Then the CSC-NVC averaging ~41 days according to the tracker.  So another month and a half to wait.  Then the embassy wait.  So I am expecting Late March-Early May POE if all goes well.   But who knows I may be surprised.   I just hope the documents she has do not expire in the mean time they are only good for 6 months, and that is when VJ was predicting mid September time frame.  Sometimes it does not pay to have everything ready too far in advance.

Ya for us, shes getting  her certificate of no marriage and police papers again to be safe. Pretty sure they expire end of this month since we were expecting her coming home this week. Really hoping end of febuary early march for poe.

Thanks!

It seems that I can schedule an appointment with the offices that are close to me... But the online submission form asks for an "A" number. I wonder if it would be a useless appointment since I am the Petitioner and not the Beneficiary. Beneficiary will eventually get the "A" number right?

It’s not necessary to put an A number, that’s if you have one only...

I think most of the people who filed an inquiry during the September 1st debacle have been successful.  I wish I inquired back then.  Now it is the stock answer until the website passes June 6.

Not everyone! I have not gotten anything and they advised me to put in another ticket as of dec 24th but I’m debating if I should do it now... so stressful not knowing how this works

But it won’t be until they post July 1st date on the website. They had may 1st for over two months posted and when You called they will say you are still within processing time. It’s ridiculous but that’s what we deal with. 😭

I don’t know how @vocaledge does it... his scans are so complete and helpful. I just use the phone application for USCIS “Casetracker” and use the search option in which you are allowed to search for up to 500 cases at a time. The allowance is 2000 cases per day before they temporarily block you lol. You must put a WAC number and 500 cases in the search options. Hope it helps!

Thanks a lot yaa....I'll try that out....

When did she get her CeNoMar certificate? I got mine a month ago, stating i havent been married as of September 2017.

Do you happen to know the validity of it? As i am wondering if i should get one again.
