There is hope! Hang in there everyone. We are 8 June filers approved 19th December after calling on 8 December for a service request from tier 2 for being outside normal processing times. We have not had anything in the post or had our status reflected in scans or in apps. Just received an USCIS email today as a response to the service request. No RFEs despite using the simple one page British divorce document and being the American living abroad. Good luck to everyone (thinking of you @John & Rose - if you haven’t already perhaps another call for a service request!)

I have called and got the wait 60 days and call again. I will give it another shot. Thanks for thinking of us!

I was told to wait only 50 days when I called yesterday. That would equate to Feb. 8th, or when I assume they plan to update their status to processing July 1 cases.

Yup, and no offense, but the data on that chart seems pretty ugh too, considering at 192 days I'm already past that average, even with the deviation stated.

As stated in the information given right before the charts, they intend to compare different months under the same conditions, in this case up to 173 days after the last day each month received cases, not to represent every single case. Just because a specific case doesn't fall between average ± standard deviation doesn't mean the given info is incorrect, just that the specific case is way under or above average.

I’m a bit confused because they told me to call 30 days after the last response on service ticket (or whatever it’s called) which for me would be Dec 24th. Apparently after 30 days I am able to open up another service inquiry to find out why is our case delayed this much.

I've just got home from the wedding of one of my oldest friends. Beautiful. Christmas themed in a castle, Christmas dinner, friends, fun with the photo booth...

Just got home. Sat on my bed with Ed, my kitty, took my makeup off, threw a tantrum, and did a full on ugly cry. Ugh.

Seriously. UGH. This is taking forever!!!!

Too much mulled wine and cider, I think.

😭😭😭😭

Bed time for me 😳

I think you can only have one formal service ticket every 30 days (congrats on getting one). I just called for an update and said I wouldn't be outside of normal processing time and able to open a ticket until 50 more days (or ~240 days of total waiting fml).  I don't think that really means that I'll be waiting that long, but it keeps their number of service tickets low.

TBH, I think everyone gets a different response when they call because they can't keep all the "explanations" straight. Just like yesterday they confirmed that my case was assigned to an adjudicator and the week before the lady swore that she couldn't see that information. But she also said that the Nebraska service center was also handling I129Fs, which... it's not as far as I can tell. The amount/correctness of information they give seems to depend on who specifically you talk to.

I figured it was something along those lines...

this whole process is such an emotional roller coaster 😭 just got to keep on going lol

Day 198 is in the books.  Now it will be day 203 at the earliest.  Still being told to call back in 60 days.  I believe we are looking at 210 to 220 before we hear anything.  Merry Christmas everyone.  We will see you next week!

This morning was a normal morning with work and emails bulit up. As I was talking with my fiance, he told me our case got APPROVED.. I didnt believe him at first and went chek it for myself :

Case Was Approved

On December 21, 2017, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WAC1790367697. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I am super duper happy. It s a relief. The second thing I told him was I have to share this with everyone at the forum. You guys have been the best support group anyone could have on their journey. They said 2 weeks and called the NVC, but with Chirstmas and New Year coming we are gonna give it a month.

Thanks all for your support and I wish you all gonna get your case APPROVED  as well.

Congrats. Don't forget to fill up this form for those waiting for NVC#...😊

Always believed 1-7-7 were my lucky numbers...

177 days today... couldn’t help but feel lucky and still hoping for a miracle to be unfolding even if slowly unfolding out there 🙏🏻
