How dumb is it to pay $500 for a usually $300 ticket to spend 4 nights together?

Absolutely justified based on the hidden law of a probable outcome (i.e. no one is promised tomorrow), you should take it and go see your love one.  I'm a 47 year old orphan - the people who love you are all that life is about.  SO... leave the gun, take the cannoli.

Not dumb. What will you miss more: 1)the $200 if you go or 2) your fiance if you do not go?

Okay, how about if I told you I saw him from Dec 8 - 12?

Should I still do it?

The CR1 is quicker and cheaper.  I wish I knew that in June.

You know i was wondering that, but my friend is married to filipina, she just got here a couple months ago, he’s military and it took them almost 2 years for spouse visa.

Really?  Everything I’ve seen says 12 months from filing to POE.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Omg! I am worried what is Igors List? I am confused. It lists approved and unapproved cases. How accurate is that? Wouldn't USCIS contact the petitioner? Helppppp!!! I am lost.

Igor's list is nothing to be worried about.

It's just based on some calculation to give people here a timeline as to when they would hear back.

Has nothing to do with USCIS

Ya i dont know if they had something hold them up or not, but that is what it took for them. And i searched june 12 i130 and nothing had been touched. So i dont know what the actual time frame is. But i guess at this rate, the money it would have saved doing it that way and only taking a little longer would have been great. This extra time has definately taking its toll financially.

Also just like @D and T i was not notified on my NOA2 on anything. Infact i was on the phone with uscis talking to them about my case and getting the same run around. Then right after the call i just happened to check my status it was approved.

I am hoping and praying for all the april, may, and early junies who are still waiting. May your approvals come soon.

I once went from Thursday - Sunday to visit my fiance for a flight that cost, in my currency, 3k, which believe me, was a LOT on my budget.

But love has no price and we enjoyed every minute together
