So many things getting impacted:

1) Having another child

2) buying a home & finding that home

3) changing jobs (I was waiting for this process to be over first)

4) Health insurance, I am paying for them to be insured in Cambodia and my son is double covered

5) My son going to school

6) 11 months can't get any "alone time"

I hope you do but you are only at 104 days right now.  I would love to see that happen but that will truly upset all of the June, July and August filers!!!!  Hang in there.  It will happen.

Oh I know, I ain't complaining about my situation ;) I already figured there are about 9-10k more "case received" before mine, so hahaha I am not expecting nothing before March for sure.

I just hate to see people that are losing their mind and getting negative vibes from their frustration and sadness. the holidays obviously don't make it easier, but

that's why I keep @Trinab80 and all others that have been waiting for 200 days or longer in my prayers. And since I have a "good" day where I'm not so frustrated, I share my positive vibes with the ones that need it to stay strong <3

I agree.  There are people here who have waited longer than me and I am very lucky to have Rose as a calming breeze.  We are fine with the wait but I know others are much more stressed.  I pray that they receive their approvals ASAP.  I am praying for @Trinab80 daily as they are very patient and kind.  They deserve good news.

Right, I just hope for everybody to get that approval ASAP and have the first step of this process behind.

This is super hard on a relationship and can be a challenge for some others.

After all - it's a big test for every relationship of course, but we're all stronger than that!

And that's why I love this forum, as we can share our thoughts, and positive vibes and lift someone when they have their downs :)

There is a lot of emotion involved when loved ones are separated.  Some people 'cope' in different ways.  A forum like this provides support for everyone whether they use negativity, levity, sarcasm, etc...  The benefit is that we are ALL here for each other to hear each other.  Great post Swiismiss...

Thank you guys both for your words of encouragement. Yes, the struggle of waiting is definitely taking it's toll on me but recently I have come to grips with just letting go and it will come when it will come. I've let this process LITERALLY stress me out to the point that my body has paid for it. I have an ear infection and my blood pressure is high which is definitely not good. But that is my body telling me that I need to stop stressing and focus on taking care of myself because the stress is not gonna bring my NOA2 any faster.

My fiancé has to be the calmest person I've met ever because he's really not stressed about the wait. Yes, he's ready and somewhat impatient but he tells me all the time that it's coming and we just have to be ready for it when it does. And he's right. If I have to find some positivity in this waiting, I guess the fact that I haven't received a RFE or NOID at this point is definitely a great sign, although I should have no reason to get either one of these since the amount of proof I provided in our petition would leave no question that we are the real deal. So, the only since I can make of it is that our background checks can be taking a little longer due to my fiancé being denied entry last November when he tried to come visit me using his Tourist Visa he had at the time. But whatever it the reason, I know it's coming...just don't know when.

I leave on January 5th to go spend 11 days with my fiancé (January 6th is my birthday). If at all else, if I don't receive it before Xmas, I would definitely pray that I receive it before I leave because that would be the best birthday gift ever (outside of spending the rest of my life with my fiancé, of course!)

But thank you all for thoughts and prayers...I really appreciate it!

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken
