It truly  does make no sense. I am not willing to wait to see my fiance Rose until I get my next notice. I'm heading back to the Philippines on January 25th no matter what. At least this gets me out of Michigan in January early February and that's always a good thing. The only blessing is is Rose will not have to come back to Michigan in February which can be very unpleasant. Especially if you've never experienced cold weather, I mean really cold weather. Maybe I will be able to be there for at least part of the process whether it be the interview or the appointment at the hospital. That would be a positive any bonus for my vacation. I am looking forward to being extremely hot and out of the cold in the snow I'm a June 16th application. So congratulations to those of us they're getting their approvals. And to the rest of us was try to have patience because it truly is getting closer. Godspeed my brothers and sisters.

Well,  I was planning on doing so around this time.  But I am still waiting because I want to go for the interview.  I was there May-June and was looking forward in going this month but by the looks of it mission impossible. When we get our NOA 2 and all that jazz at the NVC is done..  Idk maybe Feb Mar but I hope its sooner I miss my fiance so much ugh... 

 

What part of DR you go to? I go to Santiago amazing...

I was planning on going in March just because I wanted to pick him up and fly back with him cause since he has never been on a plane lmaoooooo he is dike scared. But I don’t know only time will tell. I stay in el 12 de haina when I’m out there. I was looking for a flight and to go now for the new year it’s 980 round trip. March flights are 328 praying for something sooner let’s see I’m all prayed up.

I think I've realized the only "movement" we might see from the USCIS is a BOWEL MOVEMENT.... They don't seem to be capable of much else...

I am...My fiance lives in DR,Santiago. I wasnt going to go back but because of thus wait. I HAVE to,its makimg me depressed and tge only way for me to get out of this funk is to go see my honey

Jaja!  You know my fiance has the same issue. I am like hunny boo pick cuz I can only do one either go to the interview or accompany you here to US 😁!  And mamita yes very pricey the plane tix around this time. But hopefully these people move it along omg. 

 

I wish you the best of luck on this journey its challenging and the wait overall is so frustrating!!!  🙄

Sigh guys. This whole thing is a mess. 

 

I am praying for everybody’s approvals soon. It is BEYOND unfair! 

 

BUT,

Just to prepare you guys. The hassle doesn’t end with your NOA2. At least for us it didn’t. 

 

We were approved 12/8 according to the NOA2 we got in the mail. We got updated online on 12/11. We received the NOA2 in the mail on 12/15. 

 

Now. Our NOA2 notice is a huge mess. It states that we are approved and our case is being forwarded to the U.S. Embassy in Berlin. 

 

WRONG WRONG WORNG WORNG WORNG 

 

first off, it’s supposed to go to the NVC. And furthermore, Frankfurt is the only consulate in Germany that processes this visa. 

 

We called uscis and NVC and both confirmed it should go to NVC and Frankfurt after that. 

 

We have not received a notice from NVC that they have our case, neither could anyone at uscis tell us where they sent it off to. Especially after my poor fiancé was on hold for 45 minutes. 

 

We made an inquiry to find our where our file is. But we shouldn’t expect a response before 15 days. After we made an Inquiry over the phone, they were supposed to sent us documents to sign and confirm in the mail and via email. 

 

 Not a  word. Nobody knows where our file is. 

I don’t even know how that’s possible. The uscis was not able to tell us where it is. I have never experienced such incompetence. 

 

 

KEEP ON TRACK GUYS! the uscis has one job. Send approved petitions to the NVC. They do that with everybody. I don’t understand how you can mess that up. But we all know, nothing is impossible. 

 

For all you waiting out there, my heart goes out to you. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism in a government. It’s insane and the biggest joke in history. Too bad this joke is messing people’s lives up.

Mine also says it's been forwarded to the consulate. It's standard language and it will still go to NVC first

But its even the wrong consulate, Berlin doesn’t even handle K1. 

Most NOA2 I’ve seen state it’s being forwarded to NVC.

im just confused. 

Even after calling the answer we got was “we don’t know where the petition is. We will message you in 15 days”

Yeah obviously the consulate is messed up, but if you search on here 'your case has been forwarded to be consulate' you'll find it happens a lot

I guess uscis is taking their sweet time with sending the petitions to nvc too. It’s been 12 days since approval.

Most people from beginning of November have not had theirs sent yet. There's a big delay for some unexplained, hidden reason
