I would like to ask a question which was raised for many times I guess. If it's not lack of some documents in the case which leads to request for evidence, does getting NOA2  depend on the security check or what? I mean if that is the security check that delays the NOA2.

Security checks

other people in line

They send rfe if they don't believe the evidence you sent even if it looks like it covered everything.

name hits during background checks can make thigs longer

if you have a common name, or a similar name with someone.

and so many more possible things ...

but yes yes if there's no rfe the reason would be security checks and other people before you.

Is USCIS supossed to ever update its reported processing times? Will it remain May 1st forever??

Supposed to?  No, they can do whatever they want. They do update it but since the big slowdown that dates don’t change much. I suspect they will be processing August before it changes to June 1. That way they don’t have to deal with the inquiries.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

They haven’t finished much of June and December is nearly over. Will June take up January?

For each month forms they tackle is it taking 3-4 months for them to process it?

This is is going to be even worse than expected for people after June and it’s just heartless. It must be driven by this https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/time-end-chain-migration/

It’s 17 slides of that,  doesn’t say any specific action but why else the insane delays?

June will take up some February as well. And I guess July goes to April before done. Is that what it’s looking like? It’s horrid.

Yep unfortunately that's what the timeline is looking like...I don't know if it helps but in May there were certain dates that were ignored and a lot of people with those dates got NOA2 only through mail and not online...So June 6th filers should keep looking at their mail and have informed delivery :) For RFE it can takes 1 to 4 weeks to get approved usually.

There is no law that states how quickly they have tp process visa requests.  They can do just about anything they want.  The current administration is anti-immigration so there is no real pressure on them to turn these petitions around quickly.

They started on June around 15/16 November, so their next update ‘as of October 31st’ shouldn’t really be changing to June 1st. If it does, then it would certainly benefit the May filers who are still waiting.

Then what are those april filers that still didn't get their NOA2 told when they call to inquire about their cases? They are waaaaaaaaay out of the normal processing time? I am just curious now
