Just a few more days before Christmas, we were planning to get married on Dec 31, but we obviously need to change it now. :(

Anyway, are you guys planning your weddings already?

I kind of want to plan it but kinda don't want to at the same time because I don't wanna jinx it.

Me too.

If you have not done so already I would call the USCIS. This is ridiculous. Our application was accepted on June 6th just as yours and we were approved on November 28th. Honestly I'm sorry this has happened to you. I know it's a long ridiculous wait. We are now waiting for the National visa Center still waiting. My situation I have just been extremely lucky that I could stay with my fiance basically the entire time. Other than a few short trips back home to America. Remember they are not doing us a favour this is a right as an American we have.

I've stopped planning everything, and looking for plane tickets at the moment. What's the point, when you can't even estimate anything anymore? It's all going to be last minute.

Yeah. This. Just stopped everything. Everything has just gone wrong and we'll miss all the date plans we had chalked up for our plan b all the way through to plan z. 😒

Gonna do a courthouse thing and do our thing properly 2019!

Nothing has gone textbook for us 😒 it's really upsetting and stressful. Gawd knows what the hell I'm going to do about my contract (ends Feb 5th) on the place I am renting!

So, I'm throwing a pitty party. Mr H is asleep and sick, so it's me and the cat. A glass of mint Bailey's, and lots of crying at dogs being reunited with their owners videos. 😭

*Eats handfuls of chocolate*

I feel depressed during Saturdays and Sundays since we filed for K1. hahaha! I know exactly how you feel. :D

Me too.  And for him, he works from home so all days are like that.  I wish I could work 24/7, but don't want a second job.  I really don't want the added stress of that.  I'd rather spend more time in my current one.  It's in a maximum security prison and it's less stressful than thinking about the future and about visas.  My. S.O. said to stop talking about the future and enjoy one day at a time.  I thought that was so unfair until I started to realize it makes a lot of sense in keeping from "freaking out."  I'm trying to focus on the daily stuff.  We all thought this would be over sooner and had to change plans.  Now it's kind of let's wait and see because maybe something better than we could have imagined will happen so don't worry.

Yup your S.O is right... Let tomorrow worry about it’s self... I’ve used this time apart to save up, for wedding, plane tickets and little saving when she comes... Also to work on my self... Been running and working out... Haven’t been in this shape since I was 21, 12years ago... They will be in our arms soon... God always has a purpose... If it wasn’t for this time apart, I wouldn’t have the connection of communication with my fiancé... We have to talk it out and not act it out lol... He’s prepairing is for each other... As you and your fiancés... We’re at the end already the long wait is almost over!!

Well... not that all of us didn't know this already, but I stumbled upon this article by an attorney named Fred Wahl (a guy who calls himself VisaCoach") who explains WHY it is taking so long for all of us to be processed...

I tried to "cut and paste" the article but I guess I was doing something wrong.
