Not so sure about that - I definitely predict hard copy NOA2s though haha

Anyway - I'm not gonna be around today... touring houses in USA via Facetime all day...

Hope you all have a great day and weekend!

That's so lovely, enjoy virtual house hunting!!!

Ooh! I didn't want to comment on  the post @Naes when she told us she would be out for 1 month. You know why? I knew and still know that she's the best USCIS Intel we have and she knows it. 💖💖😊😂😂

Dump this person immediately.  The United States has laws and a process. If they cannot understand this then they are unfit to live here.

I'm the beneficiary too, and its really crazy.  I had plans in place to be out there by December at the latest, so moving into January, I'm truly treading water in terms of my home and everything else that has to be in place before I can go...  I can only hope that the letter to the congressman helps to at least get my case looked at, even though the NVC issue means I'm unlikely to have my NVC case number by the end of the year as I now want...   Gosh - I might not even have my NOA2 by then.

This is truly crazy.

And thank you - I'm not amazing though - we're all in this together and I just do what little I can.  You're all amazing for sharing your experiences and keeping the positive atmosphere going too - it really helps me even when I'm quiet.  I'm struggling emotionally just like the rest of you.  I never expected THIS long... not even in my worst case scenarios.

Yeah... when I googled information about fiancé visa once we got engaged I was worried when I found some info that it will take around 7 months in total.. I expected 3-4 but now it looks like my worst case scenario was not the worst :) such a pain! We are getting a new apartment for rent in 3 weeks and unfortunately my fiancé has to move in alone ;(

it just so awfully SUCK!

My fiancé is even thinking about my another visit in the US ... but I guess I will try to hold on and wait ..

And again... not everyone would put that even little effort as you said so thanks a lot! It means a lot to see those scans!!!

One more... guys, do you have this feeling when there is a weekend that you’re not that happy anymore to be off cause it means they (USCIS) are too??! :D

I’m sorry to hear that.  My fiance is very stressed out.  He doesn’t want to come here anyway.  The longer the wait, the longer they fear a long wait for AOS and not being able to work and add income to the family.  In some cultures, living off of a wife hurts a man’s pride.  And they know that the petitioner has to work and they will be bored and many other things like missing family.  The long wait really tests a relationship.  But, it is better to know if the person is in it with you for the “long-haul” before they get here and your family and kids know them and their hearts are broken.  There is a good chance your love is scared and tired of living in limbo.  I wouldn’t take it personally.  But if it is a real a serious ultimatum, it’s not anything you did.  That person may not have stuck around long-term anyway unless everything met their expectations, and life seldom works that way.  Best wishes and love towards you in your situation...

I have written again to my congressman but also I decided to write my Senator as he is on the immigration committee. Even if its unfruitful, I want them to hear from their constituents how we feel dealing with the situation.

As with the midday scan, yesterday's full day scan shows absolutely no activity.

*sigh*

Trying to stay positive, maybe, just maybe there is a chance that the USCIS spent the day boxing up thousands of files to clear their offices before Christmas and UPS will  haul the files to the NVC.......... just to depress the people who work in the NVC before Christmas with a massive work load.
