Hey guys. I have a question and I know it’s hard because so many of you are still waiting. 

 

But we just got our NOA2 notice in the mail and it states: 

 

The above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate. 

Please contact the consulate with any questions you might have (...) etc. 

 

theres no word of NVC. Is that normal? I don’t understand. I thought uscis would send it to NVC and they would send it to the consulate. 

 

 

Can anybody explain?

I was thinking that too - since I put a whole whack of pictures, etc. - seemed like a good idea at the time but in retrospect, I think I should have trimmed it down a bit.

its been a year since i saw him, my chest hurts daily his voice sounds so hurt at this point. like i told him this is not in my control i did what i had to do on my end you know.

I do. There is a scan running, but the system is running EXTREMELY slow today so its gonna be a little while yet.  Its normally done by now and its only about half way through.  Will post, as always, when completed.

As much as I would love for it to be heading to a consulate, Mine says it being sent to NVC.

It just doesn’t make any sense..... 

it states which consulate they’re choosing for me and then that they are forwarding it to the consulate mentioned. I don’t get it.....  not a single word of NVC

also weird is that they chose Berlin as my consulate when I thought only Frankfurt is handling the K1 Visa. 

Highly confused. 

 

I would love to upload a photo of the notice but for some reason it’s not letting me upload anything.

Guys, I kinda got nervous now about uscis judgement. My fiancé sometimes calls me wifey because he says I'm wife material. But we are not married! Now I'm afraid uscis Will misunderstand it because of some screenshots we sent as proof of relationship (where he calls me wifey) and deny our k1 visa. Should I be concerned?
