Umm...I'm really not sure.

We did it through a lawyer and I wasn't around when it was finally submitted.

But I know we even included our Facebook announcement, IG post and receipt of the engagement ring. 

 

I think we even offered our phone records but the lawyer said we didn't need them.

really? my lawyer took our phone records, facebook posts, realationship status and stuff like that

I feel like im being punished for submitting the inquiry when they committed there mistake back in November and my papers are on the bottom of a box! im holding on to my faith.

He took our Facebook announcement and Instagram announcement.

Pictures of our engagement photo shoot, engagement party, his tickets and the ones he bought for me. Hotels he stayed in while visiting.

We have a joint bank account in the states so statements of that with our names and information on it.

Receipt of gifts he bought me, including the ring. 

 

I think he thought we had enough I guess.

it has been 6 months and 7 days to the T! and when you look at the time frame they give it says from start to finish its 6 months. im so confused.

And the week is pretty much over.

Most likely they will slow down next week with the holidays approaching.

Sorry Murph, this statement is incorrect. 

 

They would not refuse anybody for having an engagement party, those are relatively common. They will refuse you for being married, therefore you need to be certain your engagement isn’t mistaken by them as a wedding or that they otherwise claim you are married.

We dated for year, got engaged, waited 5 months before applying for the VISA.

In the year and half, we traveled about 5-6 times, each of us and several more after we applied.

No kids, no previous marriage.

Same age. Same cultural background. Same religion.

Pictures of our engagement party - like 70 people from both sides.

 

Just insane.

I wish they would just reject us already if we are headed that way.

 

The wait is more torturous. 

 

I lived with her for years and we actually have a child together. Always planned on marrying in the USA. My fear is they conclude we are married due to these factors and I would have to go to Cambodia and marry and start process again for marriage visa.

 

 I struggle mightily being apart from my fiancé and our son.

I just wonder if sending too much (not saying you did) leads to people's stuff taking a bit longer

June 5th filler here. Over 190 days and nothing. I've seen so many cases after mines that have been approved, including the one right before mine. 

 

 

Im happy for everyone that has gotten their approvals, i just wish mine came in already. I thought he would be here by no.

Just knowing that dr is so popping over the hoilday's and i cant be there. ugh i think ill drink myself to sleep today
