Do you know if the form for sponsoring was supposed to be sent in or we can we show that at the interview (if I do decide to go through with this of course) ??

It is such a blessing, really!

The financial stuff comes at the interview time.

There is a form you fill out after you get your NVC number.

I told my bosses that I would be leaving by the end of the year. :bonk:

It just seems so stupid that I was so naive to think like that.

I had my fiance call twice now with no avail.

If we don't get approved next week, we will be waiting until January.

He is in the middle of booking a flight for me for Valentine's Day because it doesn't look like I will be leaving anytime soon.

we couldn't have known .according to past trends we could not have seen this type of wait time increase... we all thought we would be together by Christmas... now I'm praying for NOA2 by then... and together for Valentines day............  wouldn't that be a cool wedding day thought <3 <3 <3 <3

Yeah. I feel you.

Maybe they will have mercy around the holidays and approve more...even if it's out of pity.

Hahaha.

No, if we get married on Valentine's Day, then I'd only get one gift every year

Right there with you.

Now I'm afraid if they move on to next week's cases that we will totally be forgotten OR there is something wrong with our case.

Calm down, they will get to you eventually. It was the same with May and there are May and even April filers who are still getting approved. They work all over the place because they want to cover the entire month so it looks like they're moving faster.

It's normal for them to skip your case because they do not work in order as observed.

I just want your opinions on this because I am considering this option, but I am not sure I am making the right decision:

What is your opinion on having money saved, moving to your fiance's country, and being together until this process is done?

I just want to ask, are you planning to stay here in Kuwait where your fiancé is working or are you going to your fiancé’s country and have your interview there?

If you’re planning to move here in Kuwait, you have only 1 month to stay as an American tourist.  You’re not allowed to work here with a tourist visa and the apartments here are expensive. You’re not allowed to stay with your fiancé in his apartment too coz the apartment caretaker will report it to the police.

I have no idea about Egypt though.

They asked for circumstance of meeting and evidence of meeting, both of which we had already sent with our petition (there was a lot of evidence). We sent back the exact same stuff except for an updated letter of how we met and how his stay was when he visited and we got approved.

I've no idea, some of us thought it would be to buy time but that makes no sense. A LOT of people got asked for the same stuff they'd provided so it's nothing new. You can see here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QZLEE9OecLgkFXzE_ChRWqPGW4breSStBXafL2zbGhA/edit?usp=sharing

Anyone with RFE can fill this out.

Dear Lord Jesus, we ask that You would intervene in a wonderful way for OUR fiancé’s visa approval, which seems to be taking such a long time, in getting the necessary consent.

Lord I confess that WE ARE afraid that something will go wrong that will prevent approval from being granted, which would cause us both so OR heart-ache, and so Lord we ask that You would grant that it will go through this vetting process, without any further problems or delay.

Help US to trust You in this matter. OUR spirit is willing but my flesh is weak.. and too often fear rises in my heart that approval will be denied – but WE know that You are in control and pray that it will be granted speedily.

Help us both to rest in You and allow Your perfect peace to flood our hearts, as we wait for the proper approval – trusting You to undertake - this I ask in Jesus name.

Amen

Faith!!!!!!! :)

AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN SISTER  .. DONE, IN JESUS NAME!  HALLELUJAH!  we have favor with the Lord.  <3

@Nissss I would say just to make sure that you can prove you have the intention to return... ie. return plane ticket or something. And say at POE that you are visiting family or you want to travel... because if you say you are going to be staying for lets say 2 months with your fiancé alarm bells may ring that you are trying to move over illegally. But at the same time don't lie and put down a different address on your customs form.
