This maybe something you would have to talk to someone at your local USCIS office. You have to make an appointment to talk to them.

That's what Mr H did when we needed things answering before filing.

 

I would also see if you could get another sponsor to hand, just in case. Can't be too prepared.

Yes. I agree. Imagine ISPs advertising "Google Hangouts, FaceTime, Skype access for an additional $XX per month". I can't fathom why any one would side with repealing net neutrality other than corporate greed.

There are countries that have ISPs like that. I am hoping that it gets roadblocked. I don't get political about much, but the internet is such a big thing. Deregulating it is a recipe for disaster.

This is more than simply political. It's a breach of everyone's freedom. The majority voted against the repeal yet we see this...:cry:

The vote was 3-2. Outside polls showed that over 80% of those interviewed (even GOP) opposed overturning the regulation.

 

It doesn't take effect immediately. There are still avenues to stop it, but it's going to take a lot of effort and movement from the general population to spread awareness. A lot of people (like my dad) think it's good because 'Obama did it'. 

I don't want to say that it was a breach of freedom, however. The internet is something that has grown so wildly that it's hard to classify what basic access people should have to it. For a lot of people, it's still a luxury. Taking advantage of that luxury is unfair.
