As I have written before here, I ended up writing  to my MP here in the UK  last year because of some problems with the Land Registry, they were taking six months to get to cases, all the unusual, under staffed, bigger workload blar blar  blar,  Oddly enough they had just got to my file when they got the letter from the MP and were giving it high priority..... so contacting people higher up can make a difference, at least it yanks the chain at the USCIS  if "management" are starting to ask questions that they HAVE to answer rather than give a load of BS.

By the way. how was the snow a few days ago, you said all it did was rain all the time in Essex!

My Mr. Hall (fiance) is the biggest Star Wars fan just as you. :jest: He really wishes that I am home with him so we could go watch it together :( Well.....

You have a Mr Hall too? Yay.

I spoke to mine last night and told him it was really good. Definitely a Blu-ray purchase. He said he'll wait for me to see it. Going to go from Rogue One, 4, 5, 6, Awakens, then Last Jedi.

I saw TFA last year with him in MD. Was SUCH a great atmosphere. LOVE American movie theatres.

I'm making him watch all the Marvel series so we can watch Punisher together when I get there. SO MUCH TV!

It's the little things that people take for granted that I'm looking forward to. Just being sat on the same sofa watching a show, offering each other a drink, fighting over the last pizza slice... Y'know?

Ugh...

It'll beeeee loooooonelyyyyyy this Chrisssstmassssss... 😣😔

I cried so much just at Carrie Fisher. I LOVE that woman. So sad she's gone. 😭

The film is awesome. I am a huge Star Wars fan and this ticked so many boxes for me. Avoid Twitter, Facebook etc.. I've seen SO many spoilers already.

Take snacks. It's a long movie. But SO good.

I definitely stopped worrying about all this K1 129ffffuuuuuuuu mess. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm really excited to watch it now! :D

I have to order more chilli con carne nachos then if its really a long movie....

But I must have good bladder control if I don't want to miss the important scenes.:jest:

P.S. I just noticed that your state is Maryland too.

Wait..what? Yours is also Mr. Hall? Wooow! That's amazing! woohoooo! :jest:

Aww! I cried with "It's the little things that people take for granted" line. I agree because every little things done with him matters to me. They're all precious little things that will be cherished in our lifetime. Sitting in a sofa and watching movies together is one of those amazing moments. Arrrgghhh! It really will be a lonely Christmas for us this year. (sniff, sniff) :(

Yes, ma'am. Will be up Towson, Middle River, White Marsh way. 😁 Often mentioned on the radio out there too. Maybe I'll bump into you at the M&T or Ocean City one day. 😁 Or Jimmie's Favourite Seafood. Mmmm, Old Bay crab.

Yes, order all the nachos. I found myself too in awe to eat or drink though.

My American is a huge Star Wars fan as well. He's a musician and composer, whose love of classical music was sparked byJohn Williiams' score for the Star Wars movies!  I was always more of a Star Trek fan, but my fiance's perspective of the Star Wars story and the grand myth behind it has made an equal fan of me. He inspired me to see those movies as SO much more than a collection of tropes. We watched the first one and also Rogue One. But we will watch them all again, from start to finish, (including the cartoon series The Clone Wars) when we're home together at last. For now, we have to satisfy our Star Wars obsession by playing Battlefront on the Xbox. :)
