Hey sorry, as one person explained after this, it depends on the embassy, mine really only emails the beneficiary, there’s no package, but maybe yours has it.. I can’t delete my previous comment but I hope it doesn’t create any confusion for those beneficiaries that have a package mailed to them.

Hi Naes, If you could manage a weekly scan on Friday / Saturday it would be great, I like to see that more than the daily scans and as long as it shows 800 + touched cases I am "happy-ish" . at least they are almost matching week for week.  I guess thats all we can hope for, but how the F--ing Hell we are supposed to plan for our future lives and move with this uncertainty is any ones guess! 

And then at the interview we might get asked have you  a wedding date? ......... "NO coz the USCIS took months to do their job, and the NVC had a back log......." etc, etc.  It doesn't sound good does it? ! 

Sorry to rant, a few things have annoyed me today and it is only lunch time here!

If at Poe next week they ask me so you applied for k1 when is the wedding?

I've been tracking June touched vs virgin since Nov 22. As of this morning, June is at 24% with 856 touched. An average touched per workday of 57.1.

At that rate, with 2906 remaining, it will take 51 workdays (11 weeks) to complete June.  They gotta get their numbers up...

They raised it by $200 this year and the trend doubled in wait time... I dont think thats gonna do any good.

I didn’t know they just raised it. They must have used it for increasing management salaries. Maybe a Christmas bonus.

I do not have the answer for that, but on the G-325 when we filled out it was to present time that we signed.  So depending on verification if they call employer it may trigger RFE, but I do not know the checks they perform.   If it triggers and RFE then it should be easily to update since the job listed when the application was sent will become within the last 5 years and the new job will become present.

 

It is not something I have researched maybe someone else will have more information.

thank you <3   my thoughts pretty much are in line with yours, regardless, I think I'm going to get an RFE for something else so it really doesn't matter when it comes down to it... but who knows maybe Santa will surprise me.... <3

Yup. They literally raised it by $200... that was a BIG part of the letter I wrote for my fiance to their congressman.  They are now looking into it (they called him yesterday and chatted for a LONG time about the whole thing)

I cried so much just at Carrie Fisher. I LOVE that woman. So sad she's gone. 😭

The film is awesome. I am a huge Star Wars fan and this ticked so many boxes for me. Avoid Twitter, Facebook etc.. I've seen SO many spoilers already. 

Take snacks. It's a long movie. But SO good.

 

I definitely stopped worrying about all this K1 129ffffuuuuuuuu mess. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
