Yes, the status shows "At NVC". I chose Immigrant Visa and it worked

Ahhh I figured out the problem. The guy told me the first letter of my case number is F, but I tried S and it works now. Should be SEO for Seoul, not FEO. I repeated it back to him too and he still said F O.o

We got our case number!!! They recieved it today but we were told that the case number will be assigned within the next 2weeks,  we called before thier line closed today (yeah thats how anxious and excited we both are) and we got it! It says AT NVC on their tracker.

 

Now what's next? Lol!

Note: im from the Philippines and ny fiance and I are living together here in manila. We hired a lawyer who's so far very helpful, nkt sure though now if what packet 3 and packet 4 are for. Just read about packet 3 being consulate/embassy specific and that confused me somehow (sorry im still in cloud now about finally passing this phase)😁😁😁

To use mine as a timeline, I received NOA2 on a October 26th, it arrived at my consulate today, December 20th. So approximately 2 months to consulate and then not sure how far out my interview will be, but I’m assuming late January to mid-February. So, it’s seemingly like 3-4 months from NOA2 to interview, at least for me.

So, if I was to use the instructions on the What to do after NOA2 Approval? How to contact NVC? document, where it states "At NVC, In Transit, Arrived, or Ready. "Ready" is the magic word", would "received" mean "Arrived"? I assume "arrived" means that NVC has it but they have not assigned a Case# yet, is that accurate? Or does "received" mean "Ready" according to the document; and they have assigned a Case#?

you have to check using the CEAC tracker: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

 

Select "immigrant visa" and then type in your case number. It will tell you where your case is.

Hello lovely people! Just a quick update from me (UK specific) - I had my medical yesterday in London :) (off bond street, lovely Christmas lights but my goodness lots of shoppers).

 

Quite a lot of waiting around between nurses and doctors but they were stacked out as they close for the holidays on Friday until the 2nd of Jan. (they also make clear that any medicals from Dec 15th onwards would not be send to the embassy until 2nd Jan). 

 

You fill another questionnaire (more detailed than the one you take with you), the reception take your photos that you bring with you and attach to your file which the docs keep. Ohh and you also provide a urine sample.

 

I first had a chest x-ray with a nurse (my ribs looked great!), then went in to see the doctor who goes through your medical questionnaire, completes an eye test (I wear contact lenses so just left them in and read out the letters), completes another check of your breathing, checks your abdominal area and then takes a blood sample. 

 

I then saw another nurse to go through my jabs, I had missed an MMR booster so just decided to be jabbed for a second time (on the other arm!) and got it done there. You could of course get this done by your GP but I was there and just wanted it sorted. 

 

That's pretty much it, everyone was lovely and they definitely put you at ease so nothing to worry about at all.

 

My case was received today by the embassy from the NVC (6 days in transit) and I was able to schedule my appointment - booked the first available one, 17th Jan so get to enjoy some family and friends time before the big migration :)

 

Thank you again for your amazing support over the last few months you superstars - as always to those still waiting for NOA2 and NVC numbers your time is coming very very soon, hang in there. (L)

yeah. i know this..m asking how to check when did our case received by nvc..like some guys here said yesterday that nvc received their cases.but their timeline says received before two days not yesterday..how ? its confused..
