Ok that is better news than what they told me, and makes more sense since previously it was around 2 weeks to receive a case number from the NOA2 date.

You have to call USCIS and speak with a tier 2. You also have to be given a tier 2 that is helpful and willing to look for this info. I spoke with one a few weeks ago who wouldn't tell me and gave me the canned "90 days" response. Just call them back until you get a nice one who is willing to help you because they do have access to that info.

Thank you for your advice @heartinKorea!

I tried to call as a applicant USCIS only accepts petitioner to get answered so will share your info to my fiance in US to call USCIS Tier 2.

I guess it is so frustrating there is the difference in call quality some people are helpful and some aren't in USCIS huh_? But seems that is the reality so thanks for sharing your experience.

I myself realized too but kind reminder - everyone who got NOA2 approval notice of May/June 2017 K-1 filers,  please add your info below Google spread sheet  @Shoegum created so that we can all estimate how many days in average might take to get new NVC case numbers.  Thanks!

Nobody here got their NVC number today?? :(

My fiance called USCIS and they told him they had already mailed our petition to NVC (NOA2 Nov 8th), but he forgot to ask when.

We will wait until Wednesday to call again, because that's what NVC told us to do...

Good luck everybody!

Finally APPROVED, 30 days after they received my reply for the RFE. Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers. 7 months to the day of the Noa 1 received. May 15 filer - Approved Dec.15. Some advice to those still waiting, call USCIS at least 2 times a week, like Monday and Friday and ask to speak to a Tier 2 officer. I have done that for the past month and I think they relay the message to the officer working on your case and they get tired of hearing it and do something about it. Just my opinion but it seemed to work for me. Another thing I learned from a Tier 2 officer is that USCIS has to have a decision within 7 months of Noa1 received date if not then you can file an inquiry and that is not good for the officer working on your case, they probably catch hell from their supervisors if an inquiry is filed. Keep the Faith, do not give up and Pray always, worked for me. Thank you to all my May filer family for all the advice and support. A big shout out to Shoegum who is a big help to all of us for His Scans.

Ohhhh!! Congrats!! Finally you made it!! :jest: I'm still waiting NOA2... just 3 weeks past from they received our evidence reply. :(

My fiance's been trying to get me to watch Game of Thrones for 2 years now, and I finally broke down and started watching it yesterday and WOW it's soooo good. Any other GOT fans here? There's 7 seasons so I'm HOPING that by the time I finish all of the seasons I'll have my case number. But who knows

NOA2 11/8 - Just called the NVC and they told me it is taking 6 weeks! Also told me that the USCIS didn't mark some cases approved and had to be sent back for an official approval. Will call back in a couple days to see if anything has changed but not seeing much hope soon.
